Am I the only one who had trouble with the concept of a left shark? I was like hmm that one is on the left side of the tv but that other guy is on katy perry's left, which one are they taking about? I also had this issue when I was manipulating the uterus in robotic surgeries

I have the same issue and regularly flip right/left when things are viewed in a reverse orientation. I think it's just from having the "flipped directions" being beat into me over the last few years.

I'm working as an expert consultant (lol) for a local museum for an exhibit they're developing that is medicine-based, I had to explain repeatedly why a finding on an image on the left is not, in fact, actually on the left.

I get the ban thing.. I think. It's not your opinion that matters. It's how personal you take it and/or respond to that opinion.
Insults are pretty much autoban and rightfully so. If you haven't learned how to argue without directly insulting someone... You need help in arguing.
There's also how people think pm is private or not ban worthy. Again isn't brilliant. If you think sending someone a threatening or insulting pm is okay... You should think twice. Because you can't do that in real life.

Conclusion? If I'm able to post on here for this long without a ban or probation then it must take alot to be worthy. I mean... It's me.
