Dear All,

I'm looking for a self-study route to getting prepared for the MCAT. One poster recommended The Berkeley Review as an in-depth review of all courses. It's been a LONG time since I took the material for the MCAT.

Is it enough to just study TBR to get the full content for the new MCAT? Specifically, is the Biochem section of the newly updated Berkeley Review thorough enough that, if you haven't taken Biochem, but you know TBR material like the back of your hand, there won't be any gaps in knowledge?

I'm using TBR and it is VERY thorough. As for Biochem - My research indicated that the Kaplan Biochem review book is a good addition to have. I bought it and don't regret it. It also comes with online access + 1 Kaplan Practice Test. I got it on Amazon for $30!
