sorry,there's no such thing as the 'best residency'. there are so many factors to consider as part of matching at a residency that you can't possibly rank programs like that. with that said, you can visit USNews for their ranking of the best children's hospitals in the country. there are also some listings out there of NIH/total research funding per academic institution, which eggheads say determines the best program. all in all though you need to figure out what you want out of your residency, talk with residents, talk with advisors, visit cities, etc. and then decide where to go. what's best for you isn't best for someone else and vice versa (*more cliches here*)
