i think i told someone else, a good review book covers everything that you'll need to know as far as anatomy and functional parts of the brain, TPR is a bit overboard but I mean its stuff that you'll need to know like the back of your hand during your medical school studies anyways, so mind as well learn it now or be familiar with it. I would know the main parts of the brain as you pointed out, but I wouldn't worry about like divisions of the brain such as Telencephlon, etc (excuse the spelling). Just read it a few times and you should know it all.
