Looks like legislation was introduced that would kill the public service Ioan forgiveness program. Those currently enrolled will still be covered, but it will not be available for new graduates moving forward.

Consider this a friendly reminder to submit your employment verification forms to your local HR department ASAP.

Ending all loan forgiveness is a right step in trying to end Pharmacy saturation. I have classmates and I am sure everyone here knows of at least one student who took out 300k and is living it up after enrollment in REPAYE.... sorry but if you can work, I don’t think there is any legit reason for not paying back loans. If a student has to consider taking on 300k to attend a new Pharmacy school in California, they will think twice, or at least I hope that they do
