The End of Schools requesting interviews

I've just been told that since I am the original poster, I have the power to delete "schools requesting interviews." I thaught this post outlived it usefullness about 4 months ago, but people really liked posting on it, so they said it should remain. I figured if it made them happy, then it was serving a usefull purpose. It's original purpose was to find out which schools had started interviewing back in september.
Now that we are nearing the other end of the interview session, I think we need to find out what schools are stopping offering interviews. I know that schools like NYU and Columbia normally end in mid february. So I would like to know when they send out thier last batch of interview request. That will be dealt with in the soon to be created "Schools currently still offering interviews."
As for the old post, I'm thinking about deleting it in about a week or so. That is unless someone can give a good reason why it should still stay around.
I've think I've said my say. Opinions people?

Why not just leave it? It's taking up space on SDN's servers, not yours. 😛

Normally I would suggest to leave it so people searching next fall could look it up to see when the schools they're interested in started interviewing this year. With this year being as screwed up as it has been, I don't know how viable a resource that thread would be.

I say put it to the people. Do you want it or not? 🙂

I don't see the rationale for deleting it. I don't care for it much myself, but is it really bothering anyone?

Dude, Jalbrekt, if it makes you that happy, you really should just delete it. I think you should be looking for reasons TO delete it, though, not to NOT delete it. Not deleting it doesn't take any effort...

If you really want, I'll help you towards your goal by adding my interviews, one at a time... 😉

I wanted to get rid of it, but people enjoyed posting. Now there is the other usefull post, so that eliminates that use. Maybe someone can come up with a reason to keep it around. Besides, I don't think anyone will post on it anymore. If it does dissappear, it might just get to live. i think jalbrekt just wants to delete it so badly because he started it. it's a power trip, isn't it? like when a person says "i created you, and I can destroy you." that was the initial impression i got, because there's no reason to delete it man. who does that? people leave stuff here. deleting it is just an attempt to demonstrate power. you're probably pretty proud that a thread you created has done so well (it was a really good thread by the way), but there's no reason to be deleting it!! now stop playing dada and leave the thing alone. that's my vote anyway. reasons (although you really shouldn't need reasons for NOT deleting it like incendiary said) are:
1. people are still posting on it.
2. people like to read it.
3. it's our right to read it. bringing a child into the world does not give you the right to remove it from the world!
4. because our gut instincts are telling us we like it, and that should be enough!!!
