What is the significance of this month?! I've been reading on other threads something about schools dropping "the ball" and sending out mass interviews. This sound so epic!!! I DEMAND to know more!!

I don't see too many activity going on that specific date in last year's "interview/acceptance/rejection" thread. It does seem that more offers were sent out in August than July. I think we'll start hearing from schools during August. Check out the thread from last year about people getting interviews and note the dates.
