Wow, 18 students per year. That is crazy in comparison to what most programs are doing.

Not only that, but I think they are the most expensive program. Last I checked, cost of attendance including living expenses, tuition and fees was around $111,000 a year for three years

I wonder if all 18 grads this year from the Georgia program were Able to find full time ortho in their desired locations to live?

Is it really true that they would take anyone who can pay the tuition? Even with 18 spots, I feel like there are enough people willing to pay for an ortho degree that the school can still go around and choose the best 18 people among the 100 or so that applied.

They have had a lot of post-match spots. I believe there was around like 8-10 post match spots. I'm sure they can easily fill those spots with applicants who want to get into ortho right away and don't wanna wait for the next cycle.

If you mean full time work at one location. That is pretty rare. Even when I graduated in '93 .... I purchased a PT practice (2-3 days per week) and within 2 years started two more PT practices from sratch. So even back then ... I was traveling to 3 different locations.
No different now. In Corp .... I travel to 3 offices. Most of the Corp orthos I know work for a combination of PP, Associateships and different Corps to get their desired 5-6 day FT work schedule. Based on the abundance of GP, Pedo and Corp offices offering ortho services .... I would think that getting a PT job would be easy.

pool builders are busier than orthodontist in my area - wonder why
