Just wondering, can these essays make the difference between an II or no interview? I feel like for a lot of these essays it is hard to say much due to the character limit or word count. Of course, I am making sure that they are grammatically correct and sound nice, but should I be stressing over these as much as I did for the personal statement?

I'm glad you're taking care with them, as a mismatch in quality between the Primary and Secondary essays wouldn't reflect well and might make an adcomm wonder who really wrote the PS.
