Since I have a low self-esteem and base my self worth on the amount of friends that I have on facebook and the amount of people that comment on my threads so fill this thread with anything that is on your mind and help build my self-esteem.

BE PART OF THIS GREAT ENDEAVOR!

Good luck catching up to the off topic thread. 👍

Give me back that Filet-O-Fish! Give me that fish!

Yeah, there are some really long threads on SDN. The NCAA thread in the Pharmacy forum is 80 pages, thereabouts.

Just wanted to say thanks for getting back to me on my thread! Any info is huge for me at this point in my life in order to get lined up to get back to school in the least amount of time!

Next week is my colleges spring break. When is all of yours and what are you planning on doing?

I have an interview in San Antonio, but will probably go to Sea World with my family while I am down there.

I leave for three hours and we are only up to 20 posts. Come on people we have a contest to win.

I thought I'd contribute to the cause....whatever it is.😉

In the past few months, I've become an email and SDN addict. I can't wait to feel the relief of being accepted to a school that's closer to home. Until then, I'm on "spring" break right now and I'm have more work due than I do in a regular week.....boooo😴

Why do you only care about winning? Why are you so obsessed with only the number of posts in a topic?
My self-worth is measured by the number of posts I can get on this thread. Without winning I am a loser. Please Help!

Forget about winning and try to make friends on this thread. Friends have a lot more meaning than winning one contest out of millions you could have with complete strangers.

OH WHAT A HIT BY CAMPBELL! HOLY MACKAREL!!!

Will you be my friend?

I just noticed that you're from southern Utah. Why the **** did Salt Lake City get the Winter Olympics in 2002? Who in the state of Utah gives any kind of a **** about hockey or curling or snowboarding? How often does Utah even get snow?

When does Utah even get snow? Look up Park City buddy. Or Snowbird. It is true that not a lot of people in Utah care about curling I'll give you that one and I think it speaks volumes about what kind of people live in Utah. I personally don't like curling either. It would be like putting bowling in the summer games. I lived in England during the winter olympics in Salt Lake City but know it was a sucess. Oh, and by the way. Shawn White trains in Utah for snowboarding so I guess if it is good enough for the half pipe gold medalist (2006 and 2010) then I guess it must be alright.

See, this is how you get long threads going. You say something that ruffles the feathers of a few people, they get mad enough to respond, and a three page long argument breaks out.

Just trying to help you out on your mission. And yes, curling sucks.

Me too.

Dr. Mary Roach's book, "Bonk", was very enlightening!
Did you read "Stiff"? That was good, too. A creepy subject, but a very good book. I think I'll read "Spook" sometime when I have the time to read anything other than scientific papers and textbooks.

And I don't think Mary Roach is a doctor.

What do you mean WE? 😆

Just kidding. I couldn't resist :meanie:

Yeah WE. lololol🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Or, according to Phathead, a very strong V Card.

Considering it was a troll who originally started the off topic thread. lol

There's a Sea World in Texas?

Or you post pictures of pretty girls for Crazybob. :meanie:

why would anyone want to be a pharm-tech. I would rather volunteer a few hours a week at a doctors free clinic to get health care experience and then go and do a job that matters, like building houses. You techs make me sick.

You're doing it wrong. You can't just come out and say something that everyone on the forum will disagree with. That'll get you half a page worth of flaming and then the thread will die. It has to be something divisive. Something where another poster will put up a post trying to refute what you said, which will lead to other people coming to your defense, which will lead to more people arguing against what you said until all hell breaks loose and it's a three or four page long pissing contest to see who has more time to kill. But you can't force it, you have to pick it up over time. And if you really want to learn how to do it, my advice is...LURK MOAR.

I seem to peak to soon. Am I a peak-to-sooner?

Yeah I was going to say that is weak because everyone knows that Dr's Office does not equal Pharm Experience.

Try something like Plan B or community college vs. university. That will get people going. lol

Is our Plan B thread still going in the sociopolitical forums? LOLOLOL

Hmmmm....something divisive....stem cell research? I know, testing on animals...ok maybe not. Ethanol vs. Gasoline ? What about how there are like 2 major corn companies dominating thousands of products/industries? What about genetic modification of our food sources (ie one company owning the rights to a genetically modified seed)? <--- they essentially own the farmers....cage free/antibiotic free animals? I saw a documentary about food sources and fast food- I forgot what it was called. It was super liberal but had a lot of convincing footage, testimonials, and evidence.
