The regional hospital across town has a beautiful cafeteria....in talking like a bunch of themed little grills and chefs that whip up stuff for each order. They also have the most amazing salad bar and have a even have like a mini grocery store section. I considered working there just for the food, but I'd probably spend too much money. We call our cafeteria a "canteen" and its beyond ghetto.

This is the 4th of 7 nights for me. I do 'em all in a row and then get 7 off. Same patients here as well... all boring ones... even my two meth heads are sleeping... blah!

I think it's pancakes in a few hours... maybe with bacon again, I have a training course to attend for "violent patients" until noon so I think I deserve some bacon.

One of my patients is soooo lazy tonight that he's two seconds away from asking me to hold his wang when he wees. Hopefully the attending isn't offended when she reads my reasoning for a requested PT consult.

I teach CPR so I will be up till noon as well....unless I luck out and have a class full of docs who just wanna take the test and gtfo.
 
Ya, 84 in a row ... that means I get 12 of OT. The 7 off is like a mini vacation.

I get to hold wangs all the time for lazy bums who don't want to hold the urinal... I only wish I could order PT consults.

At least he's not purposfully pissing off the side of the bed or crapping himself just to make you clean it... that really makes me mad...and it makes me laugh a little too cause they are choosing to lay in ****. :laugh:

i finished that biochem class with a 98 average. I'm now studying my balls off for a first year med school class at part of a special masters program.

SMP's: All the pain and sorrow of med school, none of the life security.

In two days I must beat x percent of a med school class to get honors on an exam. If i get as low as "high pass", I will be unmarketable as a med school applicant. **** my life

Played COD for a while ... turned it off right after I tossed a semtex into a group of enemies. Got a stick. The guy I stick has painkiller. I stick him with the nade and he survives because of his painkiller. :l My teammate takes the kill. Fun game.

Water, it sounds as though you don't have the time to work off empty calories. Ugh this night is going so slowly, working midnights FTL!

I just learned translation in extraordinary detail. I'm kind of happy with my productivity levelz right now. Quite the shame that I have to stop studying - and start reading a case study for a small group exercise at 10am. so lame
 
Ouch I know I will not be functional by ten, GL with that group exercise tomrorow. Funny how I miss the days of worrying about class in the AM...
 
Thanks guys, I printed out the light NEJM reading and I'm going to do the safe thing here: read it while driving home. Then pass out for a couple hours. Gnight

A friend was making fun of me tonight because all I could say was "uh.....a number 63?"🙂

I like pho for sure. Sirracha makes me happy.

I also like bun (?). I usually get shrimp with egg rolls for that.

I am also welcome to suggestions.

For Thai, I love yellow curry....potatoes just kill me🙂
 
I applied to 18 schools. These last two secondaries have taken me more than the past 10 combined. Curse you, interview invite.

I'm going to go stare at MS word for another couple of hours.
