Second med school exam in three days, studying my balls off. Because if I do well, maybe they'll let me actually be a med student while taking these classes, in, say, ~700 days

What's up late nighters?

Another night on-call...which of course means I can't sleep. Especially when I was told during my check in call "Oh you will for SURE get called in tonight...the board is blowin' up!".

Sheesh.

Playing Red Dead Redemption !!! yeah baby ... killing bunch of buffalo

Good luck!!!!

Thank you for the good luck 🙂

I got in the "honors" range on the exam - I feel like this is the greatest academic accomplishment of my life. I almost cried after finding out, this SMP stuff is so high stakes. It feels amazing to have worked harder than you ever have in your life and see tangible results. And it also feels good to drink beer and eat cheesecake in bed while watching tv on your one night off before getting back to work 😛

Congrats on the exam!

I'm working on secondaries. Not as much fun as cheesecake and beer 🙁

Mmmmm...oranges.

Bookie, it is so freaking hot here!!! I want my money back!!!

Tomorrow: pity tutoring session for my students and a manicure. And laundry. Lots and lots of laundry.

You deserve it. 🙂

I just had the most delicious oranges ever.

Quick fact about WristbandMD: When I was younger I hated oranges and lemons, so I convinced my family and friends that I was allergic to citrus. It kind of became a part of me (I began believing the lie I had created) and I still get hives whenever I eat/drink anything with oranges (I've come to love lemons though).

In other news: I sat next to some guy in the Chem Study Lab today who was eating a fish head (I forget the name. Chim-itzi or something like that?) and the smell is still lingering on my clothes. Ew.

Fact about Cougs: I HATE water chestnuts and think they should be eradicated from the Earth for being the most useless....what? Fruit? Veggie? Crunch item? Ever. EVER.

You're not alone. Heat = 👎, Oranges = YUM. They were cold too. Lovely.

That's pretty crazy; you basically tricked/programmed yourself into hating oranges and producing a reaction as well. I wish I had that power. Anytime I am around someone that I do not like, I break out in hives. "I am so sorry, I am allergic to YOU. Your obnoxiousness irritates me."

Never had them before. Never had regular chestnuts either.

 If only! That would be a fantastic, built-in CreepyGuy repellent!

Never had regular chestnuts either.

👍 Do people actually eat chestnuts, though? I thought they were made specifically for the enjoyment of squirrels and other rodents.

Whatup party people! another night in the ER! and I like water chestnuts! they don't have a taste but they are crunchy!

After much research, I have come to the conclusion that I was incorrect. Apparently you roast chestnuts on an open fire during the winter months. Who woulda thunk it?

I am fairly certain that horses like chestnuts and eat them in great quantities. Serves them as a great laxative. Granted this statement is based on general theoretical knowledge of horses and chestnuts, and one practical encounter with equestrial diarrhea. (Which only reaffirmed my status of a city-boy).

Yup, but the hives would have to somehow disappear immediately after the person left or else that would suck too. I've never had hives before, I think they itch a lot?

I sure didn't. Maybe they're in season during that time?

Horse diarrhea? LOL. Were you cleaning their stalls or something? I am trying to figure out how you encounter horse diarrhea.

I'm actually surprised I did not know this, considering I have ridden horses for over ten years and owned horses for about six years...Now that I know I'm definitely not adding it to the supply list!

Sometimes. Sometimes I just get the red welts without the itching, other times I itch like a jock. (I'm not punny at all...🙁)

Kung Pao chicken has water chestnuts in it too.

I usually have a bottle of beer if i'm not sleepy and then after 30 min I'm ready to pass out (sleeping pass out not drunk pass out, hahaha nice try)

is it too early for the LATE NIGHT thread?

is it too early for the LATE NIGHT thread?

I just got home at 9:00, and got on the computer at 9:40. I started my Stats homework, which I thought was due at midnight. It was due at 10pm!!! 39 homework questions, have to view 10 videos, plus a pre-test and a post-test! Luckily, we have 2 attempts on everything and after the first attempt we can review the answers. Phew! Finished with 3 minutes to spare. Although, I should probably go over the chapter to make sure I know it.

How is everyone else doing?

I slipped a note under each of their doors yesterday afternoon and got both of them sent in today. It's 7:30 AM.

Best. Idea. Ever. I want to have CougarMD's manbabies. 😍
Hahahaha, awesome, thanks dude🙂

Also, I'll totally have the babies if you just take care of them forever😉
