you should definitely push them to get those letters out (politely, of course). it's getting pretty late for primaries, but you are still alright. i always think of one of my friends who applied last september and got 2 MD acceptances (with average stats; and no, i don't mean SDN average, i mean normal human average)

was talking to a Cop in the ER today and he told us that if you have an open knife in your pocket its a felony, but if you have a loaded weapon its only a misdemeanor! WTF!!!! and that as long as you knife is in the open its totally legal, so you can take a samurai sword into a public library and its totally legal as long as its not hidden!!! wtf!

I'm pretty sure you can have a knife hidden as long as it is under four inches.

I asked him that too, he said the size of the blade only matters if its a switchblade (automatic ones). And Hidden is legal as long as the blade is not open, so if its closed its legal, and if its open blade then it has to be exposed for it to be legal! WHO makes these laws! cuz they are ******ED.

I like the premature thank-you note + small gift "nudge". You send them a thank you note with a starbucks card and they get the hint that they need to speed the hell up🙂

that happened to me and I was just honest with them! I told them that applying early with increase my chance of getting an acceptence exponentially, and I would be eternally gratefull if they could provide me with the letter at their FIRST convinience!

I'm not feeling the greatest, so I'm in again tonight. I feel like I never do anything at night anymore. Ugh. How's everyone's evening going?

Working on finishing my secondaries. I wrote 90% of them in the month between submitting to AMCAS and getting verified, so now I'm just polishing everything and submitting it. Kinda dragging my heals because my one crucial letter writer is taking his time submitting it.

I'm doing well. Not quite ready for the weekend to end. I spent way too much time sleeping and not enough time studying!

It's rainy here. 🙁 I honestly haven't slept this much in years. On Saturday I slept from 11 pm until 2 pm and today I slept from 10 pm until 11am. 😴

Today was my first day "off" in a long while. This week is my only week without interviews for awhile (nice problem to have, I know). I've only done 3 and I'm already sick of traveling.

Yes it is ssoooooooooooo hot!!!! I can't believe my dog wants to be on my bed. And she is making me even hotter. Not looking forward to working in east county tomorrow🙁

I'm taking pretty easy classes, but the work load is surprisingly heavy. Technical Writing, Stats, and Gen Chem 3.

It's a very nice problem to have! But all that traveling definitely sounds tiring.

I will say, California rain is better than Washington rain. It's not really something I can describe, but it's definitely different. Although a couple days ago I was walking on campus and it was absolutely pouring. 😀 I love, love, love, love! walking through the pouring rain.

When are you coming to Washington? For an interview?

That's awesome! Do you know people up here? Make sure you do, that way you can go to some of the cooler restaurants, cafes, bars, drives and hikes.

I'm kind of bummed that it's supposed to be cloudy/sunny all week. I just bought some cute long sleeve shirts and it's really getting me into the autumn mood 🙂

It's about 4:30am, but I woke up at 230am and can't go back to sleep.😱

I know I'm not getting any real studying done without some coffee and breakfast... so I guess I'm about to make some and commit to being "up." 😎

If tests could talk, I'd say :

"Stupid Monday math test, I'm not afraid of you!" 😀

I can't sleep either, Eisen. The nap today was apparently a mistake. But I was falling over I was so tired. Oh well.
