Snow is great. Winter pretty much sucks without it, everything looks so dreary if you don't have snow on the ground.

I don't like driving in it, otherwise I guess it is okay. I love summer so much better, though. I love how long the days are and how you can wear shorts and sandals. I love sitting outside on my patio, admiring my garden. 🙂Snow is amazing.
Yep, pistachio and butter pecan are my favorite ice creams! I can't eat too much ice cream these days since I am trying to lose weight for OMM lab when I start school in 5 months.Do you like pistachio ice cream? I still can't get on board with that one🙂
For those not familiar with the DO side of things, DO schools have their students practice manipulations on each other. Not a big deal, per se, but you are half naked in a room full of 50 of your peers. Thanks. I changed it a few weeks ago. It is a reference to my fav TV show of all time. 😉Also...I like the (new?) avatar🙂
Things I like:
Gin&tonics
Coffee
90's music
Cold weather
Dogs
Cheesecake
Single Malt Scotch and a cigar (yea I have an old soul)
Do you have a smoking jacket, too? 😉
I have this image of you in a library, sitting in a wing chair, in front of a crackling fire, in your burgundy smoking jacket, cigar in hand...

I can't stand scotch, for the record 🙂 Or anything resembling whiskey. Give me anything else, straight or mixed. Just not that.
the secret is to take a very small sip, if you take it by the gulps it can get overwhelming, its like wine its acquired taste.
Hey guys, I just needed a bit of advice for this years application season. So here are my stats.
MCAT Score: 89 W (40BS, 30PS, 19VR)
GPA: 3.98 (got a C in Archery)
Volunteer: Started two leper colonies in Bhutan.
Shadowing: I work directly with the Surgeon General.
Anyway, I was thinking about retaking my MCAT because I wasn't too happy with my Verbal score. What do you think? and what are my chances at Tufts?

That 19 VR score is totally gonna keep you out of Tufts, bro. It's well below 10th percentile. Retake or go home!!!

It's 1:53 AM and I haven't even started my lab report that's due tomorrow morning. Fock.
lol... I had online math homework like this.yea i have 4 tests coming up and a lab report and online hw that no matter what answer you put it's wrong...
lol... I had online math homework like this.
Oh FML It's now 1:59 and I haven't started my lab report.
I start to feel confident i have the work down and then when i do the online hw my confidence just drops lmao
It's the exact opposite for me in Orgo. I do the hw and feel good, then go to lecture and get ear-raped. I walk out of there going, "WTF JUST HAPPENED?"
It's for micro lab. We're writing up a report about aseptic method and staining techniques and all this crap I don't feel like writing about at 2 AM.ha nice, yea i mean we have our first chem test coming up..just can't wait so i can see what and how the prof makes the test, after the 1st test I'll feel comfortable depending on how well i do.
What's your lab report about? I have one for my bio class

And I have a test tomorrow morning too. And 8 hours of lab/lecture and I have to go see a goddamn play about women's rights. I'm probs gonna off myself in the meantime.
I know what you mean. I have to sit through 50 minutes every morning listening to an 80 year old man talk about the rock cycle. Every. Single. Class. It's like...yeah we get it...rocks are great...woohoo...Damn i feel ya.
Yea I have this govt class coming up in April (flex term) only for 3 weekends but 8 hrs/lecture.... hah i had the professor before too and i don't think i can sit there the whole time.

I'm glad I don't have any of those types this semester. I think it's insulting when someone reads from the powerpoint. I can read. Pretty well, actually. I don't need someone to read for me.lol yea exactly how it's like in my computer science class, reads from powerpoint word for word....boring as hell..
actually now that i mention it same with my bio prof.

But it that case, you usually have a pretty good idea what will be on the exams. So it has its pros and cons...true true and it's defeats the whole purpose of learning..everyone can read but some people may not be able to grasp specific concepts.
Also, the powerpoint word for word is from the book, so there ultimately is no teaching involved

Those profs that just go free-bird every class and expect you to know extraneous details that were just glossed over aggravate the hell outta me. Like that rock professor who talks about the rock cycle every class expects you to know why the basin and range topography of Nevada is expanding. It's like... where the fck did that come from? I want to take a test on rocks, ffs!
Another hour bites the dust and nothing to show for it.

I told myself I wouldn't procrastinate anymore. Looks like I'll be getting 3 hours of sleep tonight... again... 🙁Totally been there. I hope I don't do it in med school..

Go build a treehouse. Then knock it down and rebuild it. Rinse and repeat. 6 months will go by in no time.see geneticist, some people are totally ****ing around here on sdn, because some of us dont have anything to do for the next 6 months. I suggest you go to sleep
Where's my energy drink crash when I need it?
Your post count is 365. Nice.I have three no sugar Rockstars in my fridge. You could drink them and see what happens in a couple of hours.
Just woke up, headed into work 👍 I tried whiskey again last night, on the rocks. Results were less than favorable haha. I am just a wuss I guess.

It wouldn't last that long considering you'd be taking them at the same time, unless of course you take them one after the other...If my calculations are correct, that would be just about the right number to crash immediately after dinner tomorrow.
Except my calculations are based off of full throttle. Not sure exactly how they compare 😀
Yes. It is very calendrically pleasing, but not geometrically pleasing.Your post count is 365. Nice.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I drink a pretty large amount of caffeine on a regular basis, but drinking three rockstars at once would not go well for me. At all.
Well the last time I combined, stress, studying for a gen chem I final that I had to ace just to pass the class, sleep deprivation, a rock star, a candy bar, plus lack of real food, I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. I have never felt my heart beat that rapidly, even when I ran track in high school.
That makes me feel uncomfortable just reading about it...
