I'm awake with insomnia and not exactly looking forward to an Infectious Disease lecture at 8am. Oh well...I was considering working out in the morning to get off to a good start but I think I will settle for a latte.

Yoda, how ya been, my friend. Good to see ya around and congrats on the 300 pages. I wish I was as productive but I've been lazy all weekend after that bitch of a week I had at school.
 
Just wrote my PS in my head. Insominia is my friend tonight. Now to bullet point it and attempt sleep.

I've been good. It's nearly spring break + being mostly done with touchy-feely class sessions has me in a good mood. How've you been?

Getting my ass kicked at school. But, I am loving it. School + work + research consumes me. I think I might be a workaholic.

That's rough. Work+professional school really wears on you after awhile. I never even tried to add a third major activity back when I was working. It'll all be worth it when you're done though🙂.

Anyway, time for me to try and sleep. Good night late-night.
 
Just went on a taco run. I'm addicted to these late night taco missions, I can never resist the call.

All these tornado warnings and sirens going off and the fact that I live on a 3rd floor apartment and in no close proximity of anything resembling an underground shelter are not helping me focus on learning enzyme kinetics for my biochem class...:scared:😕😱:scared:😕

a patiant was just scheduled for an am surgery so now they are npo, so I went ahead and ate their roast beef sandwich in the pantry! the amazing things that I do for the patiants!!! haha

I am not enrolled in school now but I am trying to save up money for med school (starting in five months). No trips for me.

In other news, I just got a packet of my matriculation forms ready to go out in the mail tomorrow. Everything is done except a couple vaccines and one titer. All the other vaccines, the two step PPD, background check with drug test, physical are all done. There was a lot to do. And, call me paranoid, but I really wasn't crazy about the school having my health history. I don't know, I just don't think it is any of their business. 😏

Instead of returning to my beautiful home state of Florida I will be in the biomedical library doing AAMC practice tests. This use of precious vacation time will either lead to a 36 in April, or a mental breakdown. :xf:

All right, I would have been asleep by now but an hour ago I found out my iTunes account was hacked and they stole $25 worth of downloads. I sent a report to Apple because they need to fix it if it is a security problem on their end. I did some research and apparently iTunes accounts have been getting hacked frequently since last summer. A lot of the stolen account info is sold to criminals in China. From what people have said I probably won't get my money back. 😡 🙁 I am trying to be grateful it was only $25 and not $250. And that I had no credit card on file in that account.

It is upsetting because I worry was it just the iTunes or does this person have a lot of other stuff?

Go check your iTunes account. Heck change the password. It'll make me and you feel better.
 
You probably have a great chance of fighting it if it was a credit card, they're just better when it comes to identity/security breaches or other disputes. I usually use my credit card for online purchases or any kind for that reason.
 
BTW, I have a long day tomorrow and I am going to be draggin' because I didn't get enough sleep. All because of these g**d**n criminals!

For iTunes I tended to buy gift cards and those would be loaded as store credit. I often carried a balance in there. But it was store credit. I did not have a credit card on file. So I don't have the protections of a credit card. Am at Apple's mercy.

Have not had a response from Apple yet about the stolen gift card money. But, not much can be done but wait and see.

I sent out a big packet of matriculation forms yesterday. Everything is done except for a couple of vaccinations and one titer. :banana:

I've gotta write a section of a lab report for tomorrow and I haven't started yet. I really don't even think I'm gonna do it until *literally* last minute.

I do, too. What disturbs me is that this has been a problem for eight months and I think they should have warned account holders, told us to change passwords often or something. Oh, well, maybe it wouldn't have helped, anyway. I was so mad I was thinking this afternoon that I won't buy an iPhone, I'll buy an Android phone instead and stay away from iTunes. :laugh:
 
Raise your hand if you have a biochem exam in the morning that will cover insulin and EGF signaling cascades, glycolysis/gluconeogenesis, and the TCA cycle and you've been on SDN for the past two hours. *raises hand*:laugh:
 
I have IPPE tomorrow at the LTC facility. I also have to start studying for my patient assessment exam. I am super lazy though and worked out then watched some streaming netflix. Can't wait til spring break then APhA annual meeting in Seattle.

To the dude with the biochem exam, good luck. TCA cycle/gluconeogensis and all that stuff isn't that bad. I am sure you'll do fine.
 
Just got back from class, now to browse the internets for a while, then 😴

In other news, I think I might be coming down with a cold. 👎

I was pulled over today for expired registration 😡. Made me realize though, I dont know how to win over cops. I've tried being quiet, talkative, laughing, being slightly assertive/aggressive and yet nothing ever gets me out of the damn tickets!

Anyone have any pointers?
