The key to AMCAS is to never look at your app once it's turned in. I imagine I had mistakes, but I'll never know.
Every time I look at this thread at night you're always on. Do you sleep in till noon? Or are you habitually tired?
Haha thanks man, me too. Actually, last night, I went to a friend of mines graduation from high school and we went to a steak dinner. Mmmmm losing four teeth never tasted so good
A bit of both, actually, depending on whether it is a weekend or a workday. My sleep schedule is a mess and it is going to be very painful when med school starts.

My dog knows how to open the back door (though not how to close it, unfortunately) so all night when I am sitting outside enjoying the summer evening she keeps running in and out of the house letting various flying insects into the house which I find late at night when I finally come inside. 🙁

Today I turned in my resignation letter at an employer I have worked at for 13 years. I am walking away from a full time job with benefits to start med school. I'll be borrowing $60 K per year/be in debt $240 K+ with interest when I am done. The reality of all this is sinking in and I think I must be nuts. This is the craziest thing I have ever done. 😱

I was supposed to have a study session tonight with this girl, but the test got pushed back to next week. So instead, I played basketball with some buddies. Each team won a game, so we had decided that the third game would be the last of the night. Fast forward to the last play of the game: my team was down by 10 (we played up to 21 going by 1's and 2's), and their guy made a good pass leading the guy to the hoop. I went up to block his shot, missed the block, then rolled my ankle on the landing.
So basically, I sprained my ankle on the last play of a meaningless game when we were down by double-digits. Just my luck hahaha. We'll see how my 8 hour shift at the hospital goes tomorrow...

Hahaha believe me, the first thought that went through my mind was, "****, I sprained my ankle." that was immediately followed by, "****, I should have gone to that study session." I'm sure that the test being pushed back would have allowed us to "take a break" from our studying. I won't make this mistake again!

Just woke up in the 4 am, guess what I did first? Checked on the phone if the grades for summer ı have been posted yet, nope still nothing. Initially I just woke up to go to the bathroom, so it is not as OCD like, but still...... *sigh*
Totally understand. When grades are posted for the semester, I go all zombie and stay awake til they're available to see.

Today's the 4th of July? It's crazy how your days can get off sometimes. Especially because my neighbors have been shooting off fireworks since 9 pm. That's right, four hours of explosions, with the occasional break in between. It was like the freaking Blitz.
