I just wanted to say... I feel like I’ve drank 10 cups of coffee and cannot sleep despite its 3 am. In 6 hours,... the MS4’s will know if they matched or not.

Despite that I have prepared my soul for scrambling - I still have the jitters and been having nightmares.

Just had to throw it out there.

Good luck to all.

I fell asleep at 5:30 am, and woke up at 7:30am. I dreamt about the match. Too nervous.

One last hill to die on. Good luck everyone.

Had a dream last night that they had a glitch and sent us the program info too. If only...

Wait so just to clarify as a lowly m1: they just email you if you match? But you have to wait for your envelop to find out where? Or is it program specific?

Yes. You find out Monday near Mid March if you matched or not. On Friday, envelopes reveals where at noon. This is for all specialties.

Only urology and ophthalmology have separate matches that occur earlier in the year.

Congrats everyone! I’m only an incoming MS1 but I’m interested in a bunch of diff specialties, mainly derm, radiology, & IM: endocrinology.

For those matching in traditional “competitive specialties”, can you describe your process? Compared to your application yr to med school, how brutal has the match process been?

(Kinda anxious, knowing med school will kick mostly everyone’s behinds... just want to hear your stories)..

Any way we can see the unfilled spots?

I’m going to pretend I understand this and ‘like’ it

I think he meant sexually taking on a horse. Could be wrong though

There's also the military match which happens some time in December, but you obviously have to be mil-med for that.
