Are some of the topics covered in physics textbooks NOT covered in the on the MCAT ? I noticed the Kaplan and EC Review books skip some of the topics in our physics text book. Is that on purpose ?

I really wish there was some authoritative methord for studying for the damn MCAT test ! I dont know if I should use textbooks or Review books or both.

I am also considering attending some classes I already took for review. Did anyone ever do that ?

Anyone ? Anyone ? Beuller ? Beuller ?

The MCAT prep books are specially designed for the MCAT, and since the course topics are released, those test preps only cover the relevant material. At least, that is what I think 😳

I see the OP is banned for trolling, but since this gets asked constantly and few people seem to ever read the AAMC website, I thought I'd reply (and perhaps this should be moved to the MCAT forum?).

The AAMC actually gives outlines of the topics that might appear on the MCAT. Anything not on the list is not fair game (e.g. did you know they don't ask anything about alkenes? that's a whole section of orgo to skip).

The AAMC list of "fair game topics" is at http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/topics.pdf
