Sounds pretty good and convincing.

I've heard pros and cons regarding "AP only"
DO you think its a big deal?

Well, to the best of my understanding, its important to be AP/CP boarded if you're interested in going into private practice... there may be an exception for AP/FP, AP/NP or AP/Heme - but I'm not at all certain, since those haven't been pathways I was interested in, and I've been hearing the ABP was doing away with those particular "combined" tracks, but again, unsure of the details.

To the best of my knowledge, being AP-only or CP-only pretty much limits you to academics...

I have a question about methodist and my upcoming interview. They told me that my interview will be finished around 4:00; I've never been to Houston before and know nothing about the layout of the city, traffic, etc. Will that be enough time to get to IAH for a 6:30 flight? Otherwise I am going to have to take a redeye.

What day of the week is the interview? If it's any day but a Saturday or Sunday, you may be hard-pressed to get to the airport on time because of the traffic, even if you were out the door at 4:00 sharp. Traffic just plain sucks in Houston (lived there for 5 years during undergrad), especially around the time you'd be leaving. Plus you have to factor in getting your rental car checked back in and whatnot, assuming you have one.

Good luck.

It takes about 30-40 minutes at least to get from Texas Medical Center (Where Methodist is) to IAH, of course, worse with traffic.

Talk to our coordinator (if you haven't already had your interview)... I think we can probably get you out the door by 3pm, but that'll cut out the informal "meet the residents" time we have at the end of the day... although you could probably still squeeze in 15 - 20 minutes or so of that and leave by 3:15-3:30...
