As I move through this process, I am realizing that I may have more "ins" than I thought. I see this as both a good and bad thing. I think it is good if it means having a chance at a school that is within your range, but may not usually give you a chance due to an overwhelming number of applicants, desirable location, etc. However, what if it means getting an interview or even an acceptance at a place "out of your league"? I am hoping to hear from people that were accepted at places they never expected to be, and what their medical school experience has been like.
