anybody else load up XP I partitioned 32 gigs of HD space (I have a 2.0 80 gig macbook) anyways it doesn't always hook directly up to the wireless network right away. Also I need to set my default OS as the macs and not wndows. This is my first mac and so far I am very impressed with the features and ease of use. Also is there a comparable apple program to one note? anyother helpful macbook hints would be appreciated

a new version of bootcamp just came out, with new drivers - lets you use iSight in windows and some other stuff - are you using the new version ? if not that might help your wireless problem ??

thanks for the response, I downloaded bootcamp yesterday from the apple site-I think it has to do with the way I set up my network. any websites I can look at, and how can I use isight in windows, where should I search. I really like this machine and the mac OS but I feel I am only scratching the surface.

Notetaker or OmniOutliner (which is bundled in your mac). I personally use OmniOutliner Pro, which was a $24 upgrade to take notes and as an "task organizer" of sorts. The pro version has audio recording capabilities, but if you don't want to pony that up, the Office:mac also has that in the notebook template. Obviously it doesn't have any of the nifty tablet features, but I've found OmniOutliner to be very useful for taking notes and organizing thoughts without draining the battery power with a microsoft program. You can export the files to Keynote. You can even sync it with iCal and your iPod.

I haven't used OneNote for any great length of time, but what features are you looking for?

anyone feel onenote or mac equivalents are useful enough to consider buying a tablet PC to use them ???

I feel like they are sorta gimmicky, and Id like to hear feedback from people that have tried these "notebook" programs on mac or PC
