:laugh:You're kidding right? we haven't even begun to start interview yet! I would bet money that our PD hasn't even downloaded the applications yet!

No interviews to post yet...just submitted my application last night. I do have a question though. What components of the application seem to be "required" as a minimum for those of you who have already received offers? I have the CAF, Personal statement, 1 letter of recommendation, and my USMLE transcript released. 2 more LoRs, a photo (hope I look good), and my school transcript are on the way this week. I'm certainly not expecting offers before my school transcript is posted, but what about the LoRs?

On a side note, I got a quick response from Michigan State (like some of you) saying the same thing about interviews being scheduled after Nov. 1st. No similar messages from the other programs after day 1 (I swear I'm not impatient).

Oops, I stand corrected. It does say they wait until they've received all application materials though, and the list of what a "complete file" entails includes the dean's letter...as far as I know those aren't available to programs until Nov. 1st.

But now that I take a 2nd glance, the list of interview dates at the bottom even includes a September slot. I'm guessing the MSPE only has to show up as "available." Nevermind!

most have already commented on this, but since we are all a little paranoid I will go ahead a reiterate: NOT ALL APPS ARE COMPLETE. People have been receiving interviews with as little as CAF/PS/SCORES.

I've only submitted my application about 4-5 hours ago, and i'm already checking my email impatiently!!! It's going to be a long few months don't you think... that constant nagging sensation that maybe someone just sent you an email!

So far, based on what has been posted, none of the 22 programs I applied to have offered interviews. So I hope that is a good sign....

I'm a third year Family Med resident with an EMS background applying for a second residency in EM so I can be double boarded for Rural EM and EMS administration. I received very positive responses from several PD's I contacted prior to the start of the ERAS season. They all encouraged me to apply to their programs but as of yet, I haven't heard a word. When should I start getting nervous? More important, when should I contact the PD's who were so encouraging back in August?

I feel the same way, I havent heard from a bunch of the programs that these people have gotten interviews at, but i'm hoping it's because my transcript and my letters haven't been posted yet...

Hi guys, yup--don't worry, my application was complete at BIDMC before my interview offer...i also did a rotation there so they probably send those out a little earlier.

My transcript and 3/4 letters are in. Don't worry, from what I can tell reading some of your posts we have a similar application (except you go to a much more prestigious school :)), I'm sure it's just a matter of getting your transcript in...

For those of you interviewing this year, a reminder: Even if it's a freakin blizzard outside and you don't notice the tickets on your rental car in Denver, you should pay them or else they'll hunt you down.

I just (yesterday) got a letter from a law firm in Denver asking for payment on 2 parking tickets. I was a little shocked since I haven't been out there in about 4 years, ever since my interview! Yup - sure enough - the tickets were dated 12/10/03. Luckily, there's no late fee associated with them... :thumbup:

I got a thin envelope in the mail today from BIDMC... Kind of anxiety provoking since very skinny mailings are associated with rejection letters! :scared: All it said was that they received my application and would be evaluating it soon. Sheesh...

Anyway, maybe it would help for people to write in whether they attend the school or rotated at the program at which they were offered an interview. I know lots of places tend to interview those candidates before the rest.
