In lieu of the other threads popping up, I thought it'd be good for those of us taking the test to identify ourselves 👍

I'm not planning on following a rigid study schedule until January, but I think I'm going to watch a single video off of wikipremed daily to lightly review.

Good luck to everyone... we will crush this exam..

Definitely not studying. Too busy trying to finish the app. And the thought of looking at that stuff again makes me cringe. I had a dream last night I got a 7 on PS :-(

Definitely not studying either. This was my 3rd try and I don't think I could have prepared significantly better than I did.. Did all the FLs and even if I retake it, I am quite certain it won't make much difference... I feel more confident than the last one, though.. I will be applying with whatever I got..

Only 6 more days until we discover our fate. I think I'm going to have my friend check my scores for me and break the news to me gently. I'm such a softie.

I'll be at work as well. Going to check on my phone.

Less than a week until our immediate futures are affected, either for better or worse!

I work night shift and will get them before going in. I am hoping that it doesn't throw my whole night off.

same here. I'll probably be an hour or 2 in my shift (given they'll be released at about 3 ET) surrounded by doctors in the ED. hopefully the score brings me even closer to joining them :scared::scared::scared:

Got the amazon gift card today too... 59% correct "which puts you in the top quarter as compared to others who received the same Trial Section questions as you." Haha, I wonder if that includes people without "good faith," but I did it in about 15 minutes too.

i got 53%... i usually get 8-10 on BS. for everyone that got their trial section percentage, can you put what score you get on your practice aamc as well so we can all compare??

If we're looking at post-content review scores only, then my AAMC scores ranged from 33-38 with an average of roughly 35. Damn, I'd be happy with anything in that range though 😀

Also, not sure if it matters but my diagnostic (before any content review) was 31.

I haven't gotten an email yet and I took the trial section. I'm getting worried haha

I haven't gotten it either. Not sure if they noticed that I did two of the sections without reading the passage or not. I had faith that I'd get some right. Not sure if that constitutes good faith though.

Anyone else seeing a delay in amcas receiving transcripts. I sent mine from Florida last Thursday and they haven't even shown as received yet. Is this normal?

I would call up the registrar. One of my schools required me to fax in an additional release form. Also, if you're sending it by mail, not only does the transcript need to show up but it needs to be accessed by someone (I'm sure the piles are huge). And we've got a fair amount of time before any of that matters anyway.

yes, I sent mine in 2 weeks ago and they just received it. Dont worry about it. A lot of students do this so they're probably backlogged. I would call your registrars to make sure they sent them out to cover that base.

Just had my first mcat nightmare. I dreamed that I scored 24 with 5 on verbal. Man, it was so real I almost crapped myself.

I did do. 29 with 9/9/10. I'm going to be pretty disappointed at myself if I find I got lower than a 32.

I haven't sent in my AMCAS yet, but I have sent in my AACOMAS. They have received 2 out 3, waiting on my UG to get the transcripts in. If I don't see any action by Wednesday, I will give them a call and see what's up.

What was your AAMC average?

From what I remembered he scored 35 on all most all of the FL's

AAMC 3: 35 13PS /11VR /11BS
AAMC 4: 35 12PS /9VR /14BS
AAMC 5: 30 9PS/ 11VR/ 10BS
AAMC 7: 34 13PS/ 9VR/ 12BS
AAMC 8: 35 12PS/ 10VR/ 13BS
AAMC 9: 35 11PS/ 11VR/ 13BS
AAMC10: 35 12PS/ 10VR/ 13BS
AAMC11: 34 12PS/ 10VR/ 12BS

That 30 was really weird. but eh, we all have one.

Mine was sent from my registrar last Thursday as well, and I received an e-mail from AMCAS this morning saying they've received it. I wouldn't worry about it. If I were you, I'd give them until the middle of next week, and then contact them to see what's going on. I'm sure they're being flooded with transcripts at the moment.

Just called because I had not received my gift card.

CSR checked and says, "sorry, the system indicates you did not meet the qualifications for the good faith effort".

Wow.

Background: AAMC practice exam average (mean and median) = 34.5, and I actually TRIED on the trial section.

That was a totally rad way to crush my confidence with most of a week left to wait for scores.

LOL did you spend less than 10-15 minutes on it?

Don't know how long I took - honestly didn't check. I just answered each passage/question as if I were taking it for real. I'm a fast reader and it is possible that I motored through it.

In any case, it's disappointing on multiple levels.

GTW - you and I are head to head to head on scores... Best of luck to you!

I requested transcripts on Tuesday of last week, and AMCAS has only received one of the transcripts so far. =/

quite a coincidence. It would be interesting if we got the same scores... or interviewed at the same schools lol. Best of luck to you too! dont forget to post your score once you receive it!

dont worry. I sent all my transcripts on one day.... and they received them one by one.
the applications dont go out till June 28th anyways.

So, what time should we expect our scores to post on THX on Wednesday? I know AAMC indicates they will tentatively be posted on the 29th after 5pm EST, but haven't other test days gotten scores earlier in the day? It's probably useless to speculate, but I am starting to get very full of anxiety as we get closer...

I would say check at 12PM, 1PM, and 5PM.
Not that you will listen because you like everyone else will be spending the day refreshing that page lol.

Retaking if your score is lower than a 31? Heck, I'm applying with whatever I get. 24? Yep, still applying.

Not even going to try to retake it. Are you just applying to DO schools? 24 is low... I really hope I get at least a high 20... that is what I was scoring on all my practice tests at least... but I really don;t want to retake it ever again so mid-30s would be AWESOME

But you previously said you are going to retake below a 31.

I got to thinking today. How would anyone know if AAMC purposely gave you a low score so that you pay for a retake. How would anyone ever know? What would stop them? They can double their money and no one could ever do anything about it because no one would ever know. Scary thought.

You can get a re-score.

Because it would be extremely illegal.

Not to mention... Extortion and mental torture and overall douchebaggery..

2 more days peeps!

2 days? Thought it was Wednesday? Not like I'm counting...
