I'm from California. No reasons for applying, just wanted to increase my chances of getting an interview since it's looking grim right now. I know I know it's still too early, but at least adding these schools is making me feel like I'm trying 😀

OH MY GAAWWWDDD!!!!
AMCAS finally finished reviewing my application yesterday (got an e-mail) and today my inbox is flooded with secondaries...

This wouldn't even be that bad except it looks like a lot of them are due the 15th of this month...which is unfortunate for me since I now need to go write a billion essays in less than a week.

Extra unfortunate because I need fairly decent essays to make up for the L I got on the writing section, lol.

How does one respond to this? Do I call them pleading for an interview?

I am complete at Baylor. I am waiting on a fifth letter that was hand-mailed to Duke. BU has been "awaiting my printed copy" for almost 5 weeks now.

Ugh. I feel dirty and I need a shower. Congrats, nsystematic! I've been waiting on VCU For-E-ver! Do you mind me asking when you were complete?

So I just went to my first interview on Friday, guys! It went pretty well, I think. I haven't been that nervous since I took the MCAT the first time. However, once I got in the actual interviews, I realized that I had planned pretty well, and that I had a confident answer to most of the questions. Good luck to everybody as things pick up now!

Sent my Baylor secondary at the end of August. Checked the status page today, and it's a f***ing "we have finished reviewing your application. We will let you know something as soon as we are able." 👎

Also sent MSSM secondary at the end of August. No word yet.

*sigh* still sitting on Duke. At least I have figured out something to say for each essay now.
 
Yeah, I was complete at VCU 10/24. When did you submit your primary? Sounds like you're doing great. I submitted after taking the Aug MCAT, which was stupid, but I had sooo much studying to do.

I just showed them why I want to attend their institution. I think it worked particularly well because I am an undergraduate there, so they probably felt that I REALLY did want to stay in SD. Hope this helps! Good luck!:luck:
