Do you think this will stay the same in future years? (And do you have any guesses for CARs cutoffs with the new Mcat elsewhere in Canada?) Worried about my 128 CARS not being enough and having to retake, but already found a buyer for my Mcat books.

I'm freaking out because I was never able to crack a 500 on any FLs I took (never got higher than a 493 on Kaplan), unlike a majority of you all. UGH 🙁
The google doc shows people scoring better on the real thing compared to the AAMC FL...but the data seems pretty skewed.

I'm debating whether I want to look at my score right away (while I'm in class) or wait until I get home... what are you guys doing?

no idea when it'll come out, but probably between 12-3pm. I have class from 10am - 2:30pm so chances are it'll be released while I'm in class. The thing is if I get a score I'm not happy with, it'll mess up my attention in class. Also, I don't really want my friends seeing my score so I'm not sure what I'll do.

There's no preliminary percentile. That was only for the first few months of the 2015 test.

Ah **** that's actually a good point. Yeah if it's during class I'll wait.

But the stress of the wait might mess up our attention too!

LOL without a doubt it'll mess up my attention.... but I'm not sure I'd be able to handle a bad score too well in class....like what if I get 120s in everything and burst into tears lol. at least by waiting I won't make a fool of myself

In certain situations it's ok.

I once had a kid in one of my huge lecture hall classes win a lottery (not sure if state or just some casino thing, but apparently it was a lot of money). Anyway, he rips off his shirt and runs out screaming at the top of his lungs.

Prank? Maybe. But it was awesome either way.

I would actually love to see this.

I will make a promise. If I get 99th+ on the MCAT, I will have such a freakout and proceed to run up to my prof during lecture and give him a huge smooch.

Everyone will be clueless, but it will be awesome.

Hopefully I don't get an IA for it though, which would kind of be a huge buzzkilll....

Go to the bathroom and check your score there! That's what I'm planning to do haha

I'm checking mine right away! I don't have classes on Tuesdays, which is when the score is released. What are you guys hoping for? I think I'll be happy with at least a 503 seeing that all my friends have scored less than a 500, I'm a bit nervous. The excel predictor sheet says that I'll make a 510 though, if I really do then I'm going to be ecstaticcccccc!!!!

my excel predictor says 511 but i'd be reeeeally happy with a 508 (with hopefully 127 at least in every section)

Is that a copy of your 2 mcat sores before the 2015 date and the final one you took? Congrats on the II man. That's insane work.

On a side note, your SDN logo reminds me of the logo for the National Frozen Pizza Institute (yes).

And yeah I think you're right- no point in freaking out over scores. It's hard though. I'll know in about 7 days and I'm praying for a score similar to yours.

I'm guessing it will stay the same, and a 128 is the highest minimum I've seen for CARS at other Canadian schools (ex// UofA and McMaster). So you should be fine applying with that. I also scored 128 in CARS and I'm staying with it.

I have a pretty challenging class the morning/afternoon of score release..can't really afford to take time off and possibly get my heart broken...I think I'll just book it to the library after class and check on my laptop there

Who else here was taking analytical chemistry? It's actually quite interesting, just takes FOREVER and it's so hard to get all the answers perfect

What are you learning? Like more details about spectroscopy and other methods to characterize compounds and stuff like that?

Do you mind posting the link to that sheet? I think it's the same as I've been looking at but I'm not sure

By those percentages then, it looks like a 508-509 for me. I really hope I get 1-2 points higher though.

the actual predicted section scores were more accurate for me than the overall score. total predicted range was spot on though.
predicted: 127/125/128/129=509 ... I got 127/126/129/128=510

Oh wow, this is the same as @winter25's link. I def never have seen this before. Apparently, according to this sheet it says my predicted is 127/126/128/127 = 511. The range doesn't seem too bad either, we'll see.

Praying this works out.

Yeah I'm probably going to check scores as soon as the tweet is sent out. No point in delaying anymore. I'm just going to try to enjoy the next week even with some exams coming up haha.

Anyone else dealing with highs and lows with their post-test feelings? Such a roller coaster...

I also get the feels. This last week was miserable. It's ok. It means we're humans.
