Has anyone who interviewed pre-dec and did not get accepted on Dec 2nd called the school to check their status/see when they are sending out the next round of acceptances? Debating calling on Monday, just to get a sense. Does anyone think it would hurt or help my chances? Starting to get discouraged after not hearing anything from the school in a LONG time (think I interviewed about 4 months ago...haven't heard anything since)

They don't send the acceptances out in rounds all the time. You could hear any day or you could hear in July. Seriously, there are people in the school accepted within the last week before school started. It would not hurt to call and check in with the office though, I don't imagine. They are really nice people.

I believe their committee meeting was yesterday (that's what I was told during my interview) so we should expect to hear back any day now!
 
I called the school last week about my application status (interviewed back in September) and was told that they meet once a month to determine who is going to be accepted. I would expect we will hear something around end of this month/beginning of February.

Has anyone heard anything? Barbara told me the soonest I'd find out was 1/31 when I asked the day of my interview (12/7) Haven't heard a peep. Dying to find out.
 
I am in the same boat! I got interviewed in December (12/7), but no good news yet.. Hopefully, most of us would be able to hear the THING from Barbara soon!! 🙂
 
I heard that we can hear back between mid-February to mid-March, hopefully before March 15th for those who want to apply to the summer research program. They hope to fill the class by April 1st. This was during the January interview.

I interviewed on December 7th as well and got the call today. I had to decline, so hopefully that means good news for somebody else!

Got the call from Barbara yesterday! OOS from FL! Will definitely be attending 🙂
 
does anyone know when the next committee meeting is, and how many more rounds of acceptances will go out?
 
I talked to the admissions office around February 7th or so and they said that they meet once a month to have meetings pertaining to accepted students and that they plan to have two more meetings. They also said they plan to have the class filled by April 1st. I would guess the next round of acceptances will be going out in the beginning of March.
 
Normally people have 30 Days to say yes. Considering the last acceptances were given out on Feb. 5, I would say the 12 would be the next time they give out anything.
 
I spoke with Barbara this morning and she said that the next batch of acceptance will go out in a few weeks, probably the week of March 17th.

did she say anything about how many seats are left/how many people on the waitlist there are?
 
Did anyone else's change from invited to interview to recieved/under review? Nervous about that change. Thoughts?
 
Waitlisted, OOS. I'm assuming they have made all of the offers. I'm going to call on Monday.
 
I figured they'd be making offers Monday... Im instate...so either not even wait listed or hopefully some good news. I wonder if all the seats are filled? Do they have separate wait lists for instate and out of state applicants?
 
Waitlisted. All the offers have been made. Im supposed to call Barbara today to discuss my position. While I am extremely grateful and beyond happy to have received acceptances at other schools its definitely deflating to be waitlisted by your state school 🙁
 
rejected last friday via email, had my interview back in october. oos
 
Does anyone know how many people are in the alternate pool?
 
They wouldn't tell me how many people were in the alternate pool or where I was ranked, all they said was that it's "small". Unfortunately my chances of getting in are beyond dismal. In order for my file to be looked at again a Colorado resident has to drop their seat (I am a Colorado resident as well). I view the possibility of that happening as low...very low. Oh well congratulations to everyone who was accepted and a special congratulations to everyone from the Colorado State University Pre-Dental Club who got in!
 
I just called Barbara to decline my offer so I hope my spot go to anyone who is anxiously waiting. I really loved the school when I was there for interview. The faculty and staff are just amazing people. So I am upset to decline their offer. Anyways, best of luck to all of you here!!!

I turned down my acceptance today. I was an OOS alternate. Hopefully this opens up a spot for someone who is still waiting. Good luck to you all!!!

Yes, we're able to set up email and I did complete setting my email a couple of weeks ago. CU will email you about the procedure if you haven't gotten it. You had better call the finance office and administration office to figure that out.

Just got in off the waitlist a few days ago! In state, will definitely be attending!
 
Attn C/O 2018,
I'm from OOS, on the verge of applying Colorado this cycle. I plan on applying 2 public schools, Michigan and either Colorado or Maryland. Are my chances good here? Any OOS candidate got in w/ SMP? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
 
Are residents of California considered part of the WICHE states by University of Colorado?
