Time to get on board with the dental, osteopathic, etc. etc. applicants and post the "Yin" to the "Yang" as another poster described. Post as the news arrives; share the pain with your fellow aspiring Au.D. students!
No, I didn't apply there. Is that how you are supposed to find out if you were accepted or not? Maybe you should call the department? Good luck regardless. Hope you hear good news soon!I got DENIED from utah state university, I went on to see my application status and it said denied from department. Ah ****..Did anyone else apply here??

Teucer, you aren't the only one getting rejected here. There are a lot more rejections that I haven't posted. I'm just too tired of constantly seeing the negativity....Good vibes, man!I should just re-name this thread "The Official Fall 2009 Teucer Embarrassment Thread". Maybe: "Teucer's Official Fall 2009 Failure Thread"? Nah, that doesn't have the same ring to it.
+/- Seven more to go.
Thanks Loc Finesse, and I don't mind answering this question. So I actually visited Memphis before applying. Trust me, I had a feeling they wouldn't accept me before even knowing my stats. I got this weird vibe from them...like I didn't belong there or something. They showed me the facility and I met some of the students. The person I met with was pretty nice...but I definitely didn't get the feeling that he LIKED me. My friend who waited for me agreed that the school wasn't friendly. He also commented on my attire that day. I wore a high waisted skirt with a blouse and closed toe heels. He said they wouldn't be good for the clinic. I'm sorry if my professional clothes have a little style in it. I think my stats are pretty competitive so guess i just didn't fit what they were looking for.I can't help but ask, "What do the admissions committee think about at the roundtable?"....For example, "electrickisses" (sorry, hon, but you are the perfect example!) gets into Vandy, but not Memphis?! Really? WTF?....
um, thanks? well, many of us have acceptances to other schools and some of us have other plans beside Aud schools if they don't get in. Like other health-related fields, there's always going to be acceptances and rejections...it'd be be ignorant to assume that everyone who applies in Aud programs get in. Everything is relative. There is significantly less people applying to Aud programs than for example, med school, but then there are significantly less spots in an Aud program (8-10).For the few of you guys who listed your rejected schools...what's your stats...i'm just curious. I never applied to Au D schools and never will. But i thought the admissions was a bit more forgiving. Damn i guess i was wrong, I feel so bad, and this is my first time on an Au D thread.....
Now I'm just hoping something says accepted for you guys..
