Hey so I know a lot of us were posting on June MCAT'ers unite, but I want to get to know the progress of all of us 6/21'ers in particular. Let's do it.
Internet police will find you and kill you for the horrible crime.I was guilty of randomly answering a couple on the last passage.
hah, I love "free" stuff like the gift card but I was one of those people that felt SO terrible after the bio section that I just left.. But when I took it the first time I somehow got a 69% on biochem by half randomly guessing and half serious thinking =_=.
Also they don't give you the giftcard if you finish it too quickly. My friend randomly clicked on answers then left within like 15 minutes or so and she didn't get one.
Anyone else feeling the anxiety of Tuesday? :S
Wait til Tuesday!Would it be wrong for me to buy another MCAT book with my gift card?
Yes. Buy something fun.Would it be wrong for me to buy another MCAT book with my gift card?
When did you get that email? I don't think that I have received anything about the trial section.i got my email. scored 56% correct on the trial section, which the email says is in the top 25%. hoping for the same top 25 on next week's scores
How do you know that the June 5th scores are high? Do they post these statistics?June 5th scores look very very high.
When did you get that email? I don't think that I have received anything about the trial section.
I got the email at about 8:45 this morning, CST.When did you get that email? I don't think that I have received anything about the trial section.
@Doogie17 I hear ya lol
Darn!!!! 17!!! If you take one or two or even three gap years, you likely will appreciate medical school so much more. You should pour your youthful energy onto something that's crazily wild but time consuming~cause you aren't gonna be able to do that for quite a while in med school.I took it a week after turning 17 years old last month.

Ballsie!I was wild for 13 years, never did any schooling at all, just played. I have only done 3 years of total school in my life so far, so I am not burned out, I am lovin it. I worked full time at Children's hospital all last summer and did a spring break honduas medical mission trip and now volunteer in the ER weekly, so I am eager. I am hoping to do MD/PhD, but next week's score will determine what I do.
I also got top quarter but only got 56% lolI got 84% on biochem. Top quarter, yo.
I walked out of the exam feeling pretty confident, and now I feel like I probably got a 24. 🙁I feel more anxious about receiving my score then I did when I actually took the test. I hope everyone here gets good news Tuesday.
I got the progesterone question wrong. But that's not the source of anxiety. The anxiety for me is there simply because I don't know my scoreAre you guys discovering you answered specific questions wrong ? ... or is this just general nerves?
That's how I felt about 7/2 Verbal too. It's not only that I "felt good" reading/ had 2:30 left over--- I was also actively understanding the questions and very often seeing why 3/4 of them were wrong. [My strategy is usually to go back into the passage because my memory usually tricks me into picking wrong answer-- and I think I was finding everything nicely].I guess I'm glad for you guys that aren't nervous, because I can't take this much longer! SO nervous!! I don't know whether I got a 25 or a 35, and I feel just as unsure as I did right after the test! I felt like I guessed on WAY too many in PS, especially since people thought it was easy. And VR was the complete opposite: I wouldn't be surprised if I got max. 1 or 2 wrong.
BS was so far out there I don't even know what to think.
How do you even remember these things?! I can't remember anything.I got the progesterone question wrong. But that's not the source of anxiety. The anxiety for me is there simply because I don't know my score

...just hope I am not disappointed after having this confidence for that section. The margin of error is probably really small so who knows. Or, maybe we were just on our game and it was not generally as easy it seems (as far as scale is concerned) . One can hope! hehe

You shouldn't be posting such specific questions. It's violating the examinee's agreement that you signed before the test, and it could get your score cancelled.stressing outttt lol.
from vr: s
Really? It's crazy that 7/2 VR was like that too, I'm curious to know how you'll do on both exams (if you took them both). I had a lot of time left, like 10 min, and went over maybe 10 questions I had flagged. With a little less pressure, I could sit back and analyze them better, and on every single one it was like, "Oh, THAT'S the answer." It all made so much sense that I almost started freaking out. I'll probably end up getting a 9 or 10 though haha.
You're right, I removed it. Can you unquote me?You shouldn't be posting such specific questions. It's violating the examinee's agreement that you signed before the test, and it could get your score cancelled.
I pretty much petrified periodically after the tests for like 1 hr a time, just remembering everythingHow do you even remember these things?! I can't remember anything.
If you usually get 11. You'll probably get 11. it's hard to get above but also hard to go below. I mean, at least that's for me.I only took the July 2 one... commenting here because that one is less active hehe.
Hopefully we both did well. I had the same kind of "Oh, THAT'S the answer" as you for many of the problems, but there is always the possibility we glanced over other questions, picking the wrong answer without realizing it. There is going to be small margin of error for 11-15 range so let's hope for the best. I cannot help but feel good, but that can only make <11 feel so much worse.
That was a stand alone question. I can't say more.was the overly specific question on the june 21st exam? wgat passage was that? i dont remember that at all. and what passage is the progesterone question from
I wouldn't be upset with an 11 ... just gotta wait and seeIf you usually get 11. You'll probably get 11. it's hard to get above but also hard to go below. I mean, at least that's for me.
