Hey so I know a lot of us were posting on June MCAT'ers unite, but I want to get to know the progress of all of us 6/21'ers in particular. Let's do it.
well you shouldn't. that's a great score. apparently only like 4% of people get around 12-15. Even if someone gets a 15, 25% chance he/she will go back to 11.I wouldn't be upset with an 11 ... just gotta wait and see
taking a summer class and have an exam on Monday...can't really focus ahhh
If I get no section less than a 9, I'll take it. Not asking for much, just don't wanna be disappointed and retake...again
yea...hopefully the curve is good, and we all get exactly what we need. If not, I guess theres more chances. It's just that this test had me withdraw my app last year. Doing a post bacc this year to compensate ...would be nice to finally be at peace and done.I feel similarly. I don't want to retake, but if I don't get a solid score then I have no choice eh?
Trying not to think about it. I'm so nervous that I feel sick. How is everyone?
Just as a PSA: if you're able, you should donate blood (especially if you're O-!). Summer is a time when there is very frequently a shortage. There is also a nationwide shortage of plasma and platelets, so if you're AB blood centers are pretty desperate for you to donate.
I donated this morning, and it was a nice way to pass some more time, and it makes you feel good about yourself!
I know. However, if you're positive that you're not HIV+ (and have had blood results to prove it) I wouldn't feel that bad about lying on the screening and giving blood anyway. Obviously I don't advocate lying on the screening in general, but if you're 100% sure you're free, I don't think it's that bad a thing.I really wish they would end the MSM ban

That sucks. 🙁 One of my good friends is British but now lives in America with her husband, and she's not allowed to donate because of having lived in the UK.I got Malaria 4 years ago in West Africa. Got it completely treated...no recurrence...everything fine...but rules in Canada say I can never donate 🙁 le sigh.

It's most of Europe, I think, and it's due to the outbreak of Mad Cow Disease, I believe.Whoa! Weird. Didn't know UK was on the list.
How is everyone?
even if scores are posted <30 days, I think AAMC will inform everyone on twitter accountJust started looking at this forum the past few days, I had been doing a good job of not thinking about it but once I realized Tuesday makes 30 days I've definitely started feeling nervous. After reading everyones stories of how they felt they did I feel the same way. Walked out thinking it wasn't terrible and I did about as good as my AAMC practice tests but now I have no idea how I did and I'm just ready for my score.
Not to make everyone frantically check their scores over the next few days but I've had several friends tell me their scores were posted earlier than 30 days. Best of luck to everyone!
The AAMC publishes the date scores are released, and follow that schedule pretty strictly. https://www.aamc.org/students/applying/mcat/reserving/355164/scorereleaseschedule.htmlJust started looking at this forum the past few days, I had been doing a good job of not thinking about it but once I realized Tuesday makes 30 days I've definitely started feeling nervous. Haha, this reminds me of a line from Futurama, "I've heard my coworker's sister said it once, it must be true."Not to make everyone frantically check their scores over the next few days but I've had several friends tell me their scores were posted earlier than 30 days. Best of luck to everyone!

Lighten up hahaPosting false reports about scores being available is a serious violation of the SDN Terms of Service. Its also not cool. Users who do this may face removal from our site.
You may find it funny.Lighten up haha
I've decided I'm not looking at mine at all. My best friend is going to log in for me, check my scores, and then tell me how I did. If I score less than a 30, she will specifically tell me my score isn't good, and then I'll have some time to prepare myself. I'm way too chicken to see it all at once.Haha I'm just thinking about how I'm going to look at the score when I log in. Should I cover it up and take one number at a time? Or just rip the bandaid off and look at the composite straight away? I guess it will depend how adventurous I'm feeling on Tuesday ...

Exactly! I know I'm going to be pretty upset if I don't score well, and if I do it this way, I'll at least have someone there and a way to prepare myself for the disappointment.Nice, I like that strategy - definitely less stressful than having to brave it out on your own!
You may find it funny.
Many other users did not, and do not and have complained about it.
Our TOS expressly forbids this type of behavior. Users are expected to adhere to the Terms of Service.
Animal noises and fart jokes might help as well. 😉I understand that it is against the TOS, however a hint of humor on such a stressful and serious thread could help. 🙂

It sounds like you don't understand that *many* users don't find this kind of activity humorous which is why it was added to the TOS several years ago.
I personally have no agenda here except to uphold the TOS.
Doing alright I don't think I did awful on it but not knowing my score sucks. Tuesday morning will not be fun tho.How is everyone?
Honestly, seeing someone post about scores being up when they're not is the least funny thing I can imagine right about now.I understand that it is against the TOS, however a hint of humor on such a stressful and serious thread could help. 🙂

It was not directed at you but rather the user who posted a false report that his scores were back (as well as serving as a reminder to others than posting that scores are back when they are not is a TOS violation). The post in question has been deleted by that user.Assuming this was directed at my post so let me clarify. I was saying friends of mine who took previous MCAT exams (not this June 21st MCAT) told me that they checked before 30 days time and their scores had been posted. I was not saying that our scores were posted. Sorry if anyone mistook my post as saying that the scores were up!
Having said that, I'm ready to get my scores for this thing whether they are good or bad. Wish they'd at least give you your raw scores after the test!

I am going to look at my composite first and view my subscores after. That way I will know right away if I failed or not lolHaha I'm just thinking about how I'm going to look at the score when I log in. Should I cover it up and take one number at a time?
