Let's go.
.Same. Amazing though that a 38 was top half
I did this for a friend of mine, it was very awkward because he did not do that well....On the day our scores release, I am going to go to campus and wait for my friend very impatiently. It will most likely be past the time scores are released so I will be on these forums reading up on how you guys did. As soon as my friend gets here, I am going to go to the website, sign in, and let him see my score first. I am gonna pace around the room back and forth and tell him not to say anything or make any facial expressions. Then i will finally look when I am good and ready
I really hope its good so he can say break his promise and say "dude, get over here!".
they should have sent you an email!Where are you guys checking the score? I did not get any email. Will I get an email saying I did not put in a good effort? lol
I didn't get an email with my scores either...kinda nervous. I logged in to aamc too and it said I have no scores. Maybe I did really awful (guessed on everything) Still think id get some feedback...
don't be nervous, it has nothing to do with your actual score!!!I guess I didn't put in a "good faith" effort. I did have a major headache and randomly clicked on answers and actually threw up after I left the center...it just makes me more nervous for my actual scores 🙁
the days are going by really slow. On top of that, its Ramadan and fasting makes everything wayyyyyyyyy slower than it already is! Eating manages to somehow take up a lot of my time lol
yea man I usually count iftar as the end of the day for me cause after that I shower adn head to taraweeh and before i know it, its already 11 o clock at night lol. Then I eat dinner and go to sleep. iftar is in one hour away where im at
lol didnt realize how many Muslims were on this forum. Yeah I had to study for the MCAT last Ramadan and I could tell my quality of studying declined significantly
same! and agreed I have so much more time to think about my impending MCAT score during Ramadan... But I just realized I'm really glad I don't have to study for the MCAT while fasting.
I know I sound like an ass, but I would retake anything 34 or below. Not sure yet if I would retake a 35. Would be happy with 36+. But I just looked back over the AAMC scales for the other tests, and it made me feel less confident that I got a 36+.So it may just be me but the fear is beginning to sit in. Does anyone have any predictions or what you would like to not retake?
I'm fasting tooo! Ramadan Kareem! The days are dragging onnn.the days are going by really slow. On top of that, its Ramadan and fasting makes everything wayyyyyyyyy slower than it already is! Eating manages to somehow take up a lot of my time lol

I was doing the same and ended up postponing it for after Ramadan! I literally thought I was the only one! Good to know you guys are out there 🙂lol didnt realize how many Muslims were on this forum. wait fajr azan is at 9 where you're at? try 5 am bro lol. In Saudi its at 4 am so everyone has to get up at 3 to eat lolWayyyy waaaaayyyy slower! I feel like my days are 48 hours! And azan being at 9 does not help!
oh wait nvm, i got what you're saying lol. yea 9 for iftar is tough! I thought 8:30 suckedWayyyy waaaaayyyy slower! I feel like my days are 48 hours! And azan being at 9 does not help!

But seriously, am I the only one who took the trial section and has not yet received their gift card?
EDIT: "Please note that you cannot pre-register for the Trial Section. However, you will be invited to take the Trial Section ONLY after you: complete the core “scored” sections of the exam, select “I wish to have my MCAT exam SCORED” and lastly, by answering “Yes” to the statement “Please indicate below if you would like to participate in the Trial Section”."
Panic attack avoided. AAMC also says you will receive a gift card "if you put forth a good-faith effort." Seeing as how I could only muster up the mental energy to blindly guess on 90% of the questions, I doubt this qualifies as a "good-faith effort." Touche, AAMC.
