AADSAS mail-out date: 7/2/15 (2nd batch)
Supplemental complete date: 7/17/15
Received interview invitation on: 9/22/15
Acceptance notified on: 12/1/15 via email @8:45am EST and portal status remained as "file is currently under review" throughout Dec. 1st; LECOM portal changed to "Admissions Committee has made a decision on your application" on 11/30
GPA (science, overall): 3.33, 3.43 (this is with formal post-bacc included)
DAT (AA/TS/PAT/Reading/any section below a 17): 22/22/21/21/no
Approx. Shadowing Hours: 204 (36 hours being of a specialty, everything else was from 5 different general dentists)
Approx. Volunteer Hours (dental+non-dental related): 328
Approx. Research Hours: 608 (psychology research assistant)
Any specifics to LECOM: Did not submit Letter of Intent, although the school accepts and recommends them, especially if you're waitlisted

so I wonder if it means wait listed for those of us who didn't get any email at all yet :/ keeping my fingers crossed to being high up on the list! :nailbiting:

I don't believe they rank the list. she told me I will get a letter in the mail stating that I have to accept an alternate position if I'm still interested
 
A couple people stated they were rejected by email, so is it safe for me to assume that because I didn't get an email yet (but LECOM portal has been updated to "will receive an official letter...") I may have been placed on the alternative list?
 
Does anyone remember from the interview how many people applied to the school?
 
I have seen several people saying (across different threads) that they are declining LECOM for other schools, so for those of you waitlisted, there is plenty of hope.

Me, personally, I'm 99% sure I will be putting down my deposit soon, so look forward to having some of you as future classmates 😀
 
How much is the deposit? I'm sure I read the amount somewhere but just curious.

really ? I haven't seen anyone say they were rejected besides the one guy who was trolling
 
Does anyone know for sure how many people applied, interviewed and consequently how many students they accept ? Thank you.
 
I was accepted, but I am going to turn down my offer. I was accepted to my state school. I hope it benefits one of y'all.
