Did anyone happen to get a interview invite recently? I am really interested in LECOM but have yet to get a interview

They will eventually send interview invites every week. There are so many people declining their offers and they continue inviting people for interviews till April.. so don't worry there is still time...
 
Does anyone know why some people get the self schedule invites vs the prescheduled invites by the committee?
 
I have an interview on the 14th but haven't heard anything else from them since I scheduled. Is this normal?

In my case, she said on the phone that someone cancelled their interview on the last second, and i was probably next on the list so she called me instead of sending an e-mail. Also, my application has been under review since 10/16 and I applied in august, and there are people here who applied later than I did and got interviewed way earlier. They sent me the interview after they have received my fall grades, and that might have also played a role on giving me an earlier interview date. Don't convince yourself that anyone has a better chance than you to get in, that will just put you in unnecessary stress, and remember that if you made it through the first step and competed with 3000+ applicants, you can make it through those 400-500 interviewed.. Also, read last year's thread on SDN, you will find that there are people who have been interviewing in March and got accepted. So, don't loose hope, and don't underestimate your application.. I know the whole process is stressful due to the "time" factor (we always have to wait a long time to hear something), but being calm and patient is the key. If you have an interview end of January, just be excited, do the research you need to do and prepare yourself. Don't freak yourself out, that would just make you perform bad on the interview... Did you confirm your appointment via e-mail? They said they send confirmation 10 days before your interview date (which should be today). If you didn't get that e-mail today call them tomorrow.

I haven't recieved the email yet, I scheduled it on the portal and it's scheduled for the 14th. I imagine I'll get something from them today.

Is it a good sign to have the portal change to "decision has been made" with a letter in the mail in 30 days? I thought this could mean either waitlisted or rejected?

Well predent was already on the wait list so it changed from wait list to admissions has made a decision. So in that case I think ideas a good sign. And it turned out that it was a good sign!

Not sure... but I interviewed December 17th and they said at midnight they will change the status on the AADSAS portal.

Oh for real? How many other groups did they interview in December? And is that midnight eastern?

They did one other group besides my group. And not sure probably Florida whatever that timezone is.
 
my status also changed to "the admissions committee has made a decision..." from alternate list status. but I didn't get an email yet. still hoping for good news tonight or tomorrow morning! good luck to everyone else waiting on a decision tomorrow!​

I'm not sure. I got home from work about a half hour ago & checked & saw it. I wonder how many people's changed to it & how many already got emails. the anxiousness has begun!

Wow congrats! Did you email them to get the acceptance email or was it sent randomly? What time stamp does the email say? I'm not going to be able to sleep now :O

I hope they are still sending out more acceptances tomorrow/tonight!

What does your LECOM portal say?
 
Anyone here interviewed post-december and their LECOM portal is "Your file is under review by the Admissions Committee. We will notify you as soon as a decision has been made."? and AADSAS says still under review?

I interviewed Dec 10th and thats exactly what my AADSAS and LECOM portal say.
I'll be waiting for any change, I was told that on Jan 5th we should hear Y/N/Maybe.

Yeah I was told that midnight on the 5th it should show up on the AADSAS, but it's midnight in Florida, but not where I'm from so....
 
crap still nothing, I am counting on this. What's going on???
 
Congrats! I wonder what time there can send out all the offers. Lisa not there so I'm assuming that why things are going a little slow right now.
 
Maybe since Lisa is out of the office they will have to postpone a day or so. We will see

But apparently some people have gotten emails already. Unfortunately for me, LECOM doesn't even show on my AADSAS
 
i have only counted two people who have had emails sent already

The LECOM Bradenton Office of Admissions received your confirmation to accept a position on the Alternate list. Notification of acceptance can take place up until the first day of class.

Hasn't changed yet... But maybe they were only able to send a few last night that they knew were for sure accepted. I have a feeling they are still reviewing many students files and therefore will not have an update for some time. But just a guess....

Keep your hopes up everyone! We still have a shot even if there are no portal changes.
