ACTUALLY NEVERMIND! Saw you wrote October 3rd and I just don't know how to delete this post lol whoops!! But wow they really are delayed!! I've already heard from other schools I interviewed with this year while with them my interview was beginning of December! :wow:

I had my interview Jan 22, may take a while until I hear back, just a heads up they are still doing interviews.
 
I got into two places Loma Linda included and I'm trying to decide where to go now!!
 
I took the DAT for a second time and jumped 3 points in almost every category. I was rejected in late December but they said I could ask for a 2nd review of my file post DAT number 2. Anyone have any idea if this is even feasible to consider an interview going out this late to an OSS?
 
anyone else on the alternate/wait list? anyone happen to know when the wait list will start moving, if at all?

are you on the wait list? I havent been rejected, waitlisted, or accepted yet...just praying to hear something soon 🙂

have you tried calling? i wonder if we call the admissions office..they'll know anything about our status?

I haven't tried calling...maybe I should..I actually interviewed back in September. What about you?

Well they have filled up about 70% of the class now so I'm sure they are still waiting to hear back from the other accepted people. Good luck!
 
When I called back in December they said if you interviewed and haven't received an update then that means that they haven't made a decision on you yet.

I don't buy it though.
From these threads its obvious that people who have got in to LL so far have interview dates from anywhere between Aug-Dec.

It doesn't look good for us who are being "ignored".
 
They meet every Friday no exception (the other day I read a thread about them meeting on a tuesday, not true people). They are slow and no one knows how they pick the applications that they reveiw for that particular week. If they said they have not made a decision on you yet, then your name/application has not even been brought up to the committee at the selection meeting at all yet. So keep praying and be positive.

They did meet on a tuesday...but yes they usually meet on fridays..
 
Okay. It's Friday. Did anyone hear anything back today? Has anyone who has interviewed in December or later heard anything?
 
I interviewed week after Dec 3rd and I haven't heard anything.
 
Wait list email on Monday... Also got an email to update student portal in case of acceptance. Anyone else get this?

Has anyone heard from the admissions committee this week yet? I interviewed in early January and I haven't heard back yet, I'm not sure if I'm too optimistic to expect to be hearing back so soon?

I'm kind of surprised honestly, I thought they met pretty soon after interviews and let you know right away either yes or no.
 
i interviewed on 2/4 and i got a call that I was accepted on 2/11 so it's exactly a week.
 
I will be joining the class of 2017! I got my admission letter this Monday 2/11.
 
Lima Linda here I come! Got the call from Prof. Valenzuela at 2:00 mountain time.
 
wait I'm bit confused. so some people still get acceptance while some others get waitlist?????
 
Turning down my acceptance to Loma Linda this coming week, good luck to those still waiting! There will at least be one more spot open!

lol yeah. I was only thinking "rolling based admission" only. I thought they would give out acceptances first then send out alternate list after.
 
Hey guys congrats on your acceptance and for those waiting keep the hopes up 🙂 But how late does Loma Linda interview ? I just retook my DAT and got a 19. Do you think its worth resending the scores or just wait for next cyle ?

I don't think you need to resend your score because all DAT scores will send to the schools you applied automatically.
 
If you already applied this year, doesn't hurt to contact the school and update your scores. Just give them a call and they'll probably have you email or fax it.
 
I also interviewed early August... But I have NOT heard anything yet.... What is up with that??
 
I was interviewed in September and I'm STILL waiting...is that a silent rejection? P.s. I'm a non-SDA canadian applicant...is that the reason why they havent yet made a decision about me?
