I'm so confused, someone here posted that there were 3 left to be called from the NTBC list, they posted that on the DAY of my interview (January 22nd). Why would I be called in there, there's like no hope now :/

I think that was me, and I meant it as they had 3 left to call on that day, not there are only 3 spots left total. Sorry it wasn't more clear! Don't give up!!

Whew for a second allll my hopes were gone. I'm holding out for Louisville! Sent them a Thank You letter and everything 🙂

Try sending a letter of intent also! I think it really helped me

Yeah I actually talked to the admissions today, she divulged there are no open spots available at the moment. So im not sure exactly how good our chances are haha fingers crossed man

That’s crazy, she said to me that there needs to be spots open in order for people on the next to be contacted list to be selected. So I took it as they’ve already made their selections.

So it looks like today was the day they sent out rejection letters for non-NTBC students.

I wonder if they send rejections today, acceptances tomorrow--Friday.

Rejected without interview.. I feel like they should refund our secondary application fee... it's basically just a money maker for them. They never even returned my emails.

Give yourself another one week or two to receive "You're enrolled at ULSD" e-mail unless your background check is done. It has all the instructions on how to acquire UserID and password.

No, I did not contact the school after my interview. I received a thank you note in the mail and just stayed hopeful.

Financial aid question - I didn’t get my enrollment email til after the March 15th deadline, so I haven’t actually completed FAFSA yet. Am I screwed or what’s the deal with students who are admitted after the deadline?

I think you should be fine. Just fill it out and have it sent. It may take longer for them to give you your loan package and such.
