Just signed up for this test this morning. I wanted to take on 4/27, but alas that didn't work out.

I've been studying for about three weeks now. Who else is taking the test on the 11th?

2 days and a few hours... Freakin out!!!!

Last night when I was out so many people asked me how the MCAT went, and at least I could truthfully say I dont know... cant wait for next weekend when I have to hang my head in disappointment every time I get asked that question 🙁 🙁

Can we please just get this over with? haha

ahhhh!!!!! :scared::scared: 2 more days!

Because that is the scary modern landscape of broken American medicine. You'd be lucky to even find one of those qualities in a single person.

What a disgustingly gross blanket statement.

After leaving the testing center, I bookmarked this thread and started lurking my fellow May 11'ers. It has been a very long month. One and a half days until "Judgement Day".
I signed up for the 26th (from FL have to go to NY). Good luck to everyone and don't fear the retake.

were you that certain that you did poorly or did you just sign up just in case?

Anybody else feel like their stomachs are going to leap out of their mouths? I'm convinced now more than ever that I bombed the PS and V sections.

Well, per writing the MCAT:

PS - I dont remember much. I just knew that I guessed/50-50-'ed a on broad swath of questions. Fell for that "time burglar" (e.g., balanced reaction . . .)

VR - Was still in shock from PS experience and was hoping to take a crap but couldn't (I did a super carbo-load). Wasn't too bad (having said that, I did guess on the last passage).

BS - OWNED IT (easiest of all 3, I'm almost done with my master's in biomedical sciences) or maybe I stopped freaking out, eh?

Prediction ranges:
PS 7-9 VR 7-10 BS 12-14
My guess: (7-8-13)

Either way, I'd prefer to hedge all bets and apply early with a 21 - 24 and "7-26 score pending", in lieu of waiting another application cycle. I had some miles with Jet Blue that I had to use by December and my sister lives five miles away from the testing facility. I just want to be done with this.

1 day 18.5 hrs to go.
Good luck meng.

Alright who here is actually able to eat right now ha

   precisely! I think that after I get off work this afternoon I am just going to curl up in the fetal position and watch grey's anatomy in bed until our scores come out lol I cant been seen in public in the state I'm about to be in all day tomorrow

I actually felt good after the test but now I'm questioning the choices I've made with my life (as well as on the test haha)

Urgh, not me! The thought of food is repulsive right now. :barf: My stomach has been twisting and turning all morning, and then I submitted my application a couple of hours ago, and now I can barely breathe.

I thought being at work would help pass the time more quickly, but here I am on sdn anyways . . .

Yeah I'm in orgo and I can't focus to save my life. I keep refreshing the dang score page hoping they come out early

It's actually not that bad. I'm subscribed and it's good to get the nerves going.

My co-worked took this mcat and I just asked her if she's ready to get the scores back tomorrow. She replied, "Tomorrow? I get mine back on the 12th, since I took the May 12th exam." I had to remind her that there was no May 12th exam and that the scores for the May 11th exam she took will release tomorrow and now she is freaking out.

The MCAT mind f***ed her so hard that she forgot what day she took it..

A quick question for everybody. Has anyone else gotten a request to fill out a 2nd but different survey from aamc? I filled out the first survey a good while ago, but today I found in my spam filter a different survey from aamc that linked me to a survey monkey website, to take it. It was fairly detailed on what I like about aamc as a entity and what I think about things that may be in development (whether I would use them or not). I like surveys so I went and filled it out. I doubt it's a scam due to how aamc related the questions were and the fact it did not ask for my credit card, lol.

No scam, they send it to a random sample.

This has been the absolute worst day since exam day. I keep strategizing in my mind what I'm going to do if my scores are not where they should be. It's not a pretty picture.

If I don't hit a 26--I'll be retaking in August.

I feel my knowledge level is around a 29. Due to test stress---I believed it dropped.

What time should we expect for tomorrow?

My January scores hit at around 10am cst so my guess is around then.

Stay positive, man. No need to over stress yourself. A balanced 25 should get you plenty of love in the DO world, and that's very obtainable seeing your performance on the AAMC FL's.

I would bet my money, but don't have much, that the scores will be up by 3:05 EST.

Good luck to you and to everyone here!

Took a month away from the MCAT chit-chat, but today's the day. Good luck to my fellow May 11'ers!!! Hopefully we'll all be smiling when we see that beautiful computer screen

Guys it's simple. If our scores aren't good enough we can just add our scores to someone else's scores and then tag team the admissions process like in Step Brothers. I would partner with any of you as long as you don't touch my drum set
