Wow, really? Did anyone else hear back? I just called them and they said that the committee was meeting pretty soon and decisions would be made by next week. Seeing as how you already got accepted though, I think they're actually sending out a few acceptances at a time right now...

The wait is killing me.
 
I received a rejection letter yesterday via email. Interviewed back in November. It's okay though because I am going to Buffalo anyway. Just wanted to let you all know. Good luck everyone!
 
I called this morning and they said they have already sent out rejection e-mails, and for everyone who hasn't heard anything that they are "still in the running" and we would probably find out next week. This wait is torture!!

I actually wouldn't assume that. If I'm not mistaken, UMich is done with their interviews right? So as of right now, whoever has been offered a spot for acceptance, if they accept, the class will be full. But thereafter, if anyone withdraws their acceptance, the next person to get the seat would be someone on the waitlist!

So keep your hopes up. Just try to figure out how many waitlist spots have been offered, because I'd think that's key. If it's only 15, then I think you probably have a decent shot of getting in, just based off of how large the school is.

I checked my wolverineaccess... view decision.. rejected.. T___T Noooooo!! I really wanna go back there... oh well 🙁

Waitlisted in some places. I'm in an okay position.., it's just a shame that I can't go back there as a dental student (yet?). Oh well, you have fun there!

We have great basketball and football teams this year. Student section would be very noisy 😉 GO BLUE!!

Good luck! And just think of it this way, now you can perhaps return to Michigan for a specialty and you get to live in some other cool place for four years! 🙂

Does anyone have any information regarding UMich's waitlist from past years? I'd imagine that there would be little to almost no movement for a state school of michigans prestige
 
Has anyone who had a January interview and was wait listed heard anything yet?
 
I had a January interview and was waitlisted but have not heard anything yet. Have a feeling it may take some time, that's if the list even moves at all.
 
Theres still hope everyone! I interviewed the last time day they had available and was waitlisted... but I received the phone call yesterday morning that I was accepted!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Did anyone else on the wait-list hear back from Michigan the past few days by any chance? I have a secondary deposit at another dental school due in a few weeks and would rather not pay it if I hear back & decide on Michigan. 🙁

Just got the call a few minutes ago accepted off the wait list!!!!!...not gonna lie i had a mild seizure when i saw the ann arbor area code haha but it's such a weight off right now!
