So the Princeton Review website says that we'll be given an option if we want to use scrap paper or a dry-erase board during the mcat, but the AAMC site that we'll just be given scrap paper. So for those who have taken the mcat, can you confirm if we'll be able to use a dry-erase board?

I know it doesn't really make a difference but I'd actually prefer to use a dry-erase board because it would keep more organized...

I think it depends on the center... we had scrap paper... but I know ppl who got white boards... so I guess it all depends on the center, if its old school or not 😀

i hope that if the center had dry erase boards, they would have the option of using scrap paper as well. i would NOT want to be stuck using a dry erase board if I dont have to! Id find it distracting, would much prefer paper

Do you thhink some centers have dry erase boards only? Id like to avoid those

I have been practicing on a dry erase board for the last 2 months, and yesterday I went to the center near me and turns out we get dry erase board. But I will ask if I can get scrap paper just in case. Dry erase makes conversion to sci notation easier in my opinion.:meanie:👍

i had to use dry erase.
but it wasnt too bad.

they gave me like 3 dry erase "sheets" which were fairly user friendly.

I was given two dry erase markers (black), an eraser, and two laminated yellow pieces of paper with wide grid lines on them….I guess it all depends on your test center. Either way, there aren’t so many equations that you actually need to write much down. Most of it can be done in your head.
