What are you guys saying here? I think my PS and application is pretty thorough in explaining who I am but I don't want to leave out anything that might help.

I just explain why I have a negative grade trend during senior year. That's probably it.

When they say optional, they truly mean optional. Only use it to explain something that isn't evident elsewhere (death in the family to explain a semester of W's, etc). Don't use to to expand upon a qualification you already mentioned.
