What is the significance of this mascot?

basically that medical students are scutmonkeys and have to do all the scut work residents and nurses throw on top of them. You know.... coffee, donuts, transport... all the glamorous parts of medical school.

We all put ourselves through hell worrying about GPA's and MCAT scores and making sacrifices.... all fighting for the priviledge to get to med school.... the way I think of it is like this, its like a bunch of cows fighting to get into the slaughter house just for the right to be called steak. Once you're there, you're the cheapest most unwanted steak in the place.

Don't get me wrong, I love med school... it just really feels like a slaughterhouse sometimes.

Make a movie about it!!!! Get a karachi man to marry a indian female and get an evil eye from his parents about it!!! 🙂 or she gets **** for marrying the muslim man 🙂 HAHAHAH DO IT!

But seriously-while many of us western desi don't care about religion/ethnicity..many of our eastern counter parts do. Unfortunately our parents are those eastern counter parts also. So....it is like a movie....where there is a romeo and a juliet but then there are the stupid fueds of the family(religion!! boogghha boogha....)!

HAHAHAHAHA Yeahhh...definately understand that it is personal values and family values. Our personal values are overwhelmed by our family values. 🙂 HAHAHAHA! Its funny...we have different sets of morals and when the morals conflict they are weighed out. So in this case our family values sometimes conflict with our personal values...and family values always win 🙂! HAHAHAH
