So, since I'm starting residency next year I was wondering if it's at all possible to have something of a social life. I mean, I'm not planning on boozing it up everynight. I just hope that there's time for fun.
Also, it is frustrating to get to a program and see that there are no single people to hang out with. Nothing against my married peers...

think big cities if you want a social life.

Remember, for the most part, the big city residencies also work the most hours. 😉

I've been wondering the same thing. But I actually don't want to be in a really big city/program because even though there are more people, what are the odds you'll ever see those same people again? You don't want to feel lost and alone all by yourself in a new place.
