Did you provide your professor with the instructions & AAMC # to upload or send to Amcas? Maybe he thought you were only applying to one school? I specifically requested my writers to upload their letters. I know a few schools will take letters directly from the writer, but unsure if this is an exception.
It seems you may not have the luxury of selecting another writer. If so, request he send to Amcas directly.
