I read a letter from several years ago to gifting-relative where cingular offered to lease the land for 5 years while paying a monthly rent w/ an option for renewal.

The letter didn't mention a price, but after a little research I found that the typical rate for these cell phone towers is 500-2000$ per month to the land owner.

The Cingular entity is now defunct

Made out like a bandit this year...

From my in-laws: Lots of little things: books, gag gifts, some hair stuff... they literally sent a relative down with 4 boxes of stuff for the three of us so I couldn't tell you all of it without digging through the box of loot.
From my sister: Cute fuschia Isotoner driving gloves and a pretty multicolored scarf.
From my uncles: Money/gift cards, and to me and my husband: a double crock pot and a bigger food processor (we just have a mini one).
From my mom: various little things (socks, nail polish, a candle, etc.), a $50 gift card, and some awesome winter boots!
From my husband: Some Ferrero Rocher chocolates, a car-charger and case for my Droid, Moulin Rouge on Blu-Ray (OMFG that will be like being on shrooms or something), a book I wanted called "Match Day" (that I heard about here), a digital picture frame that he is going to load all of our wedding photos onto, and my favorite gift of the day... He took a Black Canary action figure offline and turned it into an action figure of my main character from the MMO we play. He carved some stuff off it, added things onto it, repainted it, etc. OMG, it's so awesome.

Hey, I got one of these too! lol. Is yours the Fisher Price one? I also got my dad's copy of The House of God, which he read while he was in medical school a couple of decades ago. Since I'll be starting school in August at the same medical school he went to it's getting passed along to me. On a more fun note, I also got rainboots that are shaped like cowboy boots. They're pretty much the coolest rainboots ever. 🙂

I'm currently a junior planning to take my first MCAT in May. I just started studying this past week and feel that I'll do well in the Biological Sciences and Verbal. My concern is the Physics. I'm taking physics right now and not too confident on how to approach it for the MCAT - I feel that I won't have much time to master it (my school is on the quarter system so I will be missing the end of 3rd quarter physics for the MCAT). How much physics does that MCAT test that is taught during the later parts of the semester/quarters?
