This morning I went out for a little run, just for fun. Well after about 30 min I returned to my humble abode and lo and behold I see an envelope from school _______. I know most people get phone calls or emails if they are accepted and since my interview was about a month ago I wasn't looking forward to opening the letter because it was THIN, and my thinking thin=rejection. So after a minute of contemplation I decide to open the letter and as I'm reading it I realize that its only to say my application has gone to committee for final review. <whew> I thought I was going to be heading to the warm tropical sun in the Caribbean and not the cold harsh winter of North America. Well heres to some more waiting, hopefully I'll get a phone call and I can withdraw my seat at the Caribbean school I've paid my deposit for and get my $1,000 back.

So far I've been accepted to 2 schools and they were both in the mail in thin envelopes (one page each). They send information later.

🙂 So relax.

Ditto the previous post, I have gotten two acceptances and neither notified me beforehand and both were in very small, thin envelopes. I think there are schools that send a big packet upon acceptance, but I think most schools do that later on. So, face your mail with confidence, and open them all assuming you got in. Btw, was the envelope you got from GW? I got the same one, and it reads like a rejection, until you get to the end. Brutal, but at least I still got a chance. Good luck in the future and may all your envelopes be gigantic and manilla! 🙂
