Hello! This is my 3rd posting about what happened at MGH, but seems like you are all interested...
We filled all of the AP and AP/CP positions (11) with excellent candidates.
We took 2 folks from outside the match (transfers from another specialty) into AP/CP.
We did not match 2 CP-only positions. We thought we had a shoe-in candidate and un-recruited other applicants by telling them we had a shoe-in.
SO, having 11 positions in the AP/ AP-CP match was unprecedented and they filled easily. We stabbed ourselves with the CP-only positions.
