I'm at that stage in the application process where I mailed my secondary fees and have to wait for my application to be reviewed. In other words, I'm checking my email at least a 100 times a day and this waiting is killing me, especially hearing about everyones interviews... Is anyone else in the same boat? Or is everyone a keener and got their application done during the summer?

in the same boat... except with one interview (one of the schools got back to me really quickly... although i have no clue why, i'm not complaining. but still waiting to hear from 10 other schools..)
the obsessive email checking has become my new hobby (it's even replaced facebooking...)

When I recieved my first interview letter, woh~~the mood changed abruptly.

Receiving the first interview letter, I was really really excited!

As time progresses, opening up my e-mail account tons of times have become ritual. -----------> "should I wait more? Come on~"

oh my gosh it's killing me!!!! i know i have to be patient, and it's good that i have a busy schedule this quarter, but i still check my email as much as possible!!!! i haven't received any interview invites, yet, just schools saying they have my app and it's under review.

i wonder how long it usually takes to hear something!

i know! this is the worst part!! everything is under review! its been reviewing for months! !! all im reading is other people interviewing everywhere and then the rejections are coming for the places i didnt apply to (az, case, nova.. ) ahh!

For those who have interviews, how long did it take from having your application under review to an invite for an interview?

Each school is different. Some schools take a month, some a couple of months! I submitted my secondary to one school back in August only to receive an interview yesterday!

I have a feeling they will all come at the same time, just like the supplemental apps did. 🙄

they probably will... I submitted really early and was waiting for a while before I heard anything and then BAM! I got 4 in one week, and after not hearing from anyone for a while I got another one today. I don't care how many interviews I get, I'll still be checking my email 100 times a day until I'm in somewhere...

I'm in the same boat, and whenever I read how some people have already gotten multiple interview invites, I start to worry!

I sent in my apps in July, but I just took the DAT 3 weeks ago...so I know I have to wait at least a few weeks before I hear anything. 🙁

when was ur app considered complete?? my stats are very similar to urs and my app was completed by early august and i still havent gotten any interviews yet! this blows lol.

they weren't complete at some schools according to aadsas and when I received some of the interviews (Columbia, UPitts, LLU, and OSU). I just stopped paying attention to what aadsas says, I kept calling schools and they told me to do the same...

Hey Futuredentist,

When was your aadsas mailed out? I am also wondering how long it took you to hear from LLU for interview invite after you submitted your secondary?? Also, how is the school? (assuming you already had interview couple days ago as it says on your predent).
