The weirdest thing happened on my UCSD status page.

So, I checked my status last Friday and next to "Final decision letter sent" it read 2/21/03. I was bummed as hell b/c that means a rejection letter has been sent. But, I checked the mail today and still no rejection letter, so I logged onto the status page just now and the date is no longer in the "Final decision letter sent" row. What does this mean? Did you reject me on accident or something or are they playing with my emotions?

hmmm....same here. mine was marked: 'final decision sent 2/20/03". now its gone. probably a computer glitch. since mine was on 2/20 and yours was on 2/21, i think correspodence had really been sent but just a computer prob today.

i just checked too and the same thing happened to my staus. however, i am not going to go and rejoice- i sort of do think that letter has been sent.

I just checked mine, and it still says final decision letter sent on 2/20. Oh well... 🙁

the rejection letter is so short. but at least hand signed. i think. cuz this is my united states of whatever.

does this mean that they stopped sending out invites?

the letter says:
"[UCSD] has completed its review of the applicants who will be interviewed for our first year class."

They might be preparing to send you an invite, but the decision has been made, according to this letter.

Have any of you received notices in the mail or has your status page changed again? Did anyone call UCSD to find out what's happening with the website? I didn't notice anything wierd on my status page but I also haven't seen anything new lately and I'm just wondering if they're having problems updating or if my status really hasn't changed yet.

it was a computer glitch. I got my rejection a few days ago. 😡
