The thing that I hate memorizing most (and cringe whenever I see a related question) is baby/childhood milestones.

I hated this on Step 1, and I hate it again on Step 2. A close second on my list of awful things to memorize is the lysosomal storage disease stuff.

Anyone else have a particular thing that you hate to memorize for Step 2?

I hate everything that has to deal with psychiatry and its drugs. Especially when they try to talk about side effects of said drugs...

whoa,,,, are you guys me? I whole-heartedly agree with the both of you!!

Chromosomal translocations for Step 1
Types of AML for both
KIDNEY PATHOLOGY effing membranosegmenproliferative nephropathitis....

How about dominance patterns for malignancies and genetic disorders? There are a couple nice chats in Secrets with this info.

Still dont know it by rote memorization, and never will.

anyone knows any good mnemonic for remebering childhood milestones?

There is no good mnemonic. Just make sure you memorize it the day of or day before your test. There are certain facts that you just have to memorize the night before your test and that is one of them.
