If, by some miracle, I get interviews next cycle, and I am asked by someone at the school if they are my first choice, should I always say yes, or would an honest, "I am still undecided," be acceptable? I feel really stupid asking this question, but is it essentially a given to say a school is your first choice, or should you be honest about it.

I feel really dumb for asking this, also I think that first sentence is horrid grammatically, but I don't know how to fix it

"Your program is definitely amongst my top choices but as of now I'm still weighing my options and gathering all the necessary information in order to make an informed decision" or something like that.

That is I think what I meant, is something like that 100% cool/ come off as a mature answer?
