I have been accepted into 2 school and after talking to a few PT's about the programs, most defined them as option 1 being more "clinically based," whereas option 2 was more "theory based."

I have somewhat of an idea what this means but could anybody tell me a bit more detail about the differences and sorft of like a pros-cons list between the two.

Thanks!

I'm not quite sure what they mean. I have never heard of a PT program being "theory based". I wonder if it has to do with one being taught by clinicians who have been in the field for awhile may or may not have PhD and another taught by new PhD grads who don't have a lot of clinical exp?

I would investigate which school teaches more evidenced-based practice.
