I don't really understand these 3 thermochemistry questions. For question 7, the explanation says the saturated vapor pressure curve is lower. By looking at the graph, it seems as though lowering that curve would lower pressure but increase temperature, while shifting the melting point line to the left would lower both pressure and temperature of the triple point. The explanation here is nice and long, but I'm still confused as to why it is A. It seems like it should be both a and b.
For question 8, wouldn't the feedback heater need to have increased power to heat the reference cell? I'm also confused by the graph as I don't understand how there can be negative power.
